    People underestimate the difference gidley leaving and hokko coming in for tyrone is going to make. Lack of effort isn't costing us no matter how fashionable that opinion is, lack of quality in key positions is.

    Wouldn't mind Smith on the bench to come on when our starting props come off. We don't have many old heads so someone needs to babysit. But with that said we have plenty of good young players that could go well and truly past him in the pecking order if they haven't already. Tough one

    Good OP Joel, agreed on all including the next years team you put out. After tonight's game only thing I would change is: 10. Stockwell 11. K Simms 13. Rochow Paea could earn the 10 too.

    Result aside I actually enjoyed watching that one. I thought there were some positives and the real negatives won't be an issue next year. I guess I'm just watching from a 'next year' point of view these days. Gagai was pretty bad and really needs to find the balance between playing for himself...

    Why move our biggest attacking threat out of the centres to shoehorn an ok winger into a position he has never demonstrated he has any of the skills to play. I've never understood the Jimmy to centre theory, but it is popular so there is obviously something in it I don't see.

    I'd play him at fullback and if not in Jimmy's spot. Playing it safe won't get us where we want to be. We need to improve and sometimes that requires risks, not that I think Mamo is a huge risk.
