    Devastated. I don't get to laugh and mock your childlike IQ anymore. No doubt there will be other chances on other subjects though. I'll try and stay positive. As per my last post, was always in trouble when Faulkner came back. Not in the best 11 at the moment. I'm good with it.

    I'm thinking the opposite. You need another boundary hitter in case Warner or Finch do go early. 300 looks like the new par so you need to hit boundaries in that first power play. If they do stick with Bailey, I'd say one of those new all rounders might need to come in at 3.

    Without research, I'd be surprised if George has done more. Watto has been good for the usual run a ball 30. Im not convinced Marsh won't end up as right arm runs, but nothing to do with bowling at the moment. I'd say keeping a power option at 3 is what tips Bailey out for Clarke.

    There is no mystery about his selection to this point. He is finally under pressure because with Marsh and Clarke back we have some Top 6 batting depth now. First time all summer.we have had that luxury. Despite that, I still think he would still be ahead of Bailey when Clarke returns. Outside...

    Yeah the extreme end is what I was referring too. Of Lee's 300 wickets, it felt like 150 of them were kiwis. Fair point re Boult. I suppose having him around would have to help, but I'm still not convinced. Be interesting to see if it translates to your batsmen in game day situations.

    Are you better at dealing with mid 140's type pace ? Been a long standing Achilles heel for NZ IMO. Not sure 12months of Pakistan, West Indies and Sri Lanka is evidence of too much. Id add England to SA and Australia. Broad, Anderson, Tremlett could roll you for not much.

    Fitting end to a great tournament. Big Bash continues to entertain. More than happy to watch the domestic and fringe players as opposed to the established internationals. The players love it and it shows. For me, a BBL game is much more watchable than an international T20.

    I'd take something in between rehearsed PR bullshit and Telegraph sensationalism. For me, take the level of emotions and anger that article portrays, divide it by a factor of 20, and then we might have something approaching reality. Each to their own when it comes to credible news I suppose...

    Don't see much speculation ? That's pretty funny considering the whole article is speculating about some sort of impending, drama filled blow up between clarke and just about everyone else in Australian cricket. It was a good read though. Typical Daily Telegraph tabloid trash, but a good read.

    Don't know. Might have diminished his Pakistan efforts due to a perception of conditions suiting. Maybe not confidant it would translate. To that point, Pakistan was the only ODI success in a good sized sample. Either way, everything worked out.

    Being able to hit a boundary. Plenty of balls landing on the crease line go to the rope these days. That knowledge compounds into pressure and therefore mistakes from the yorker bowler. A small yorker error equals easy to hit full tosses or balls on the up. Tough gig imo. Not sure death bowling...
