    I think money is the problem. Lots of it in RU in England and France in particular. The RFU owns Twickenham, for example. It is a gold mine. They've got too much money for their own good! Maybe in time their wealth will destroy RU in the less wealthy countries.

    Whose mistake is it? Let's have some facts, please. In my experience, the FTA networks usually do what is in their own competitive interests. Surely Channel Nine would be interested, maybe not on the main channel. Is the asking price too high, for the rights? Facts, please.

    These are poor countries and the young men who are born there need to find paid work of one kind or another. Professional sport is an obvious avenue for them. I doubt that they care much which sport it is, as long as they can earn some money for their families.

    Look mate, I have been around for a very long time. Long enough to remember some wonderful inbound French Tests back in the fifties, and of course the fantastic GB sides that used to come here, almost every winter, it seems in my memory. Why aren't there any inbound Test series any more...
