    You have to pair it with divisions to increase the number of teams in play for finals spots throughout the season. Otherwise if becomes something more akin to college football where losses are so costly you won't make the playoffs even early in season.

    For those discussing the best use of Kayo, using it through Telstra Tv is great. And yesterday Telstra announced you don’t have to be a customer to get one. Not sure the cost of one though as they gave it to me for free with my broadband package.

    Mathematically more teams are in play for finals too. In addition the schedule can make more sense (home and away within division, annual rotating h/a between divisions).
