    I thought we were very good tonight. The intensity was up more than usual this year and we played smart for once. Brailey's service from dummy half made a huge difference also.

    Haven’t seen that sort of workrate from Hetherington in a stint for a long time. He had very good impact off the bench. Dan Saifiti too. Great to see.

    Everyone has been poor. Dropping both our starting halves after 1 bad trial would be absolute madness when they were huge orchestrators to our attacking flow last year. Excellent way to derail our season.

    94kg so hardly a string bean. Not going to talk him up too much as he's still very unproven after just a few FG games but he didn't shy away from carries from the bits I saw of him this year.

    We weren't great today, but the Raiders were very physical, and they came with a game plan. Second half wasn’t perfect from us, but we responded well. It was very scrappy but loved our resilience. You need those sorts of wins too not just the flashy wins.

    I think we we can afford to rest a few of the guys but not all of them. Guys like Tuala, Lucas, Jones, Nu Brown, Clune can help fill in if need be and get the job done. Wow, we are quite blessed with depth this year.

    Nu Brown obviously has an injury history, but he goes well I reckon. He'll have a crack and he’s a quality defender.

    Will Mann be a loss? The good defence is kind of taken away by the errors and clunkiness in attack. I reckon we can do with or without him.

    I think too many people are judging Clune when he was on 1 leg last year. It clearly hindered his performances. I'm confident he can do a job today.

    Gambles kicking game is really quite underrated. He gets a good amount of length on his kicks and his 5th tackle options were all spot on today. I think it's a lot better for the team having him sharing the kicking with Hastings.

    Is Crossland a decent no.9 now? His service is actually up to standard lately and he’s getting fitter over the 80. His service isn't suffering as much with the fatigue either.

    Wouldn't be surprised if Miller plays some hooker. He was actually a hooker when he played for the Coffs Harbour Comets.
