    NRL Rd 19 2022 - General Non-Warriors Thread

Aside from hanging their teammates out to dry in a high stakes game in order to not wear the same jersey as them that quite simply promotes equality and respect of a marginalized group? Do you really need more evidence than that? It's not luring people into being gay ffs.. RE the trans thing...

    NRL Rd 19 2022 - General Non-Warriors Thread

Nah, f**k religious or cultural defense for people's worst impulses. If your religion says certain people are lesser, f**k your religion. That shit shouldn't have a place in society at all. I'm tired of pandering to f**kwits, and won't respect arseholes doing the wrong thing by someone else just...

    Team v Storm

Yeah I might be out on watching this weeks game. Between the shit on Sunday, already having a bad taste in my mouth from our game the day before, NRL's pathetic response to Sunday, now the Manly arseholes and all of the shit around that... and to top it all off, THAT's the team named vs the...

    NRL Rd 19 2022 - General Non-Warriors Thread

There's significantly more grounds than any normal error - a) it literally decided the outcome (this is important to establish, but the minor part of the argument), b) they failed to follow their own rule structure/process with regard to when a challenge can be made. Essentially the Tigers...

    3-2-1 v Raiders

3 CHT - big f**k up to give away the try at the end but saved a bunch at fullback, still our best 2 Tohu - worked hard - particularly on d, played 80 1 DWZ? Montoya? idk... Dallin I guess. Wasn't a lot to pick from. -1000000 Badger. Not a first grade standard official - and those standards are...

    New Warriors Coach

As far as I remember Sheens had turned down Gus the year before for the Penrith gig, only to get the axe at the Tigers after 1 bad season (just missing the 8) - then they tried to play silly buggers and avoid a full payout and give him some other job (this was following a whole bunch of...

Reece Walsh confirms intention to remain with Warriors for next year (2023)

Deine Mariner is an excellent shout. I want one Deine Mariner please. TMM off contract so can be had anyway, if we want him.

I do have to say though - I *love* the f**k you to POS after the Lodge thing in particular.

Reece Walsh confirms intention to remain with Warriors for next year (2023)

I'd consider looking for both Arthars & TMM along with CNK coming over. TMM at fullback as he's played well there for the Broncos, CNK & Arthars at centre. But I dunno, with this club I doubt they're bringing CNK back to play anything but fullback. They didn't like him as a centre before either...

Reece Walsh confirms intention to remain with Warriors for next year (2023)

Disappointing, at least we have CNK coming in who will presumably stay more than just 2023 at least. Not the same standard of player, but if he'll follow the ball and back up the play in support more often (like CHT last week actually) I'll be... well... not unhappy, I guess.

    Matthew Lodge

BMM was fine when playing wide - but necessity has pushed him inside far too often, and he's missed a lot of games on top of that. Pene is an odd one. I get the feeling we're just using him wrong. Not that he'd be some star player - but a solid enough #4 in the rotation at least. Yeah Taupau...

    All-time low. Club dead soon.

Most head coaching appointments struggle in any year tbf - that's the nature of the thing

    New Warriors Coach

He was an assistant with us under Cappy - and apparently an assistant now at Penrith.

FFS. Well that's ridiculous given Brown's record coming in.

    All-time low. Club dead soon.

Since I've come back and had another think about this mess, it makes sense to not rush into any appointment. If Flanagan misses the Tigers & Dogs jobs, there could be a slim chance he might reconsider? - and it's not like we're going to take a candidate from a Sydney team (or indeed, any team)...

I was thinking of Blackmore, but yes, Henry fits the description also.

    Kiwis v Tonga

Yeah I gotta agree that Tonga's pack got their shit pushed in. SST/AFB went alright, and that's about it. Still, their halves were pretty bad on top of that. Staggs is only a 6 if you have a dominant 7, and Amone is probably a 6 himself. I would've liked to see them throw the young Katoa kid...
