    2024 Crowd Watch

Reckon we'll get around 18k there tonight provided the weather holds up. I know quite a few families taking kids (as it's school holidays) when they normally wouldn't on a Thursday night.

    2024 Crowd Watch

We got 19k against them in a 2013 regular season game.

    Knights 3 2 1s

Thanks Val and good points on some of those referee decisions. Real head scratchers and I must've been seeing things but his body language and expressions towards us at times, including our challenges didn't look great. The call on that Collins challenge was literally unbelievable. Who cares if...

    Dogs 3 2 1s

That first half was one of the most bizarre things I have seen. Absolutely inexplicable. Agree on everything else said. Hard to give points but: 3 - Manu 2 - Keary 1 - Cheese Fingers crossed this week.

    Roosters lower grades thread

Does anyone know what Max McCathie is doing? Haven't seen him named in any sides this year. Strange as he was Jersey Flegg player of the year last season so wondering if he's injured or something?

    Penrith 3 2 1s

3 - Manu 2 - Rads 1 - Cheese Panthers are relentless. Hard to see where we beat them, but let's hope we continue to improve as season goes on and who knows. But again, they are definitely the team to beat.

    2024 Crowd Watch

The Roosters actually continued to host that Good Friday clash until 2010, well after the current ANZAC Day concept started in 2002. In 2011 I think Easter and ANZAC Day clashed as you indicate could happen and it just never happened again after that which was disappointing.

    Souffs 3 2 1s

    Manly 3 2 1s

3 - Ted 2 - Rads 1 - May Agree with the sentiment here. Not our best performance but far from a disaster. Manly will be a handful this year, especially at Brookvale. Short turnaround my biggest worry this week, but JWH and Cheese didn't play big minutes and I'm glad to see Gus back in the 17...

    The Game 2024 Membership

Roosters 18,681. Think someone earlier said 25,000? Not sure where that came from? https://www.roosters.com.au/membership/

    Broncos 3 2 1s

3 - Radley 2 - Ted 1 - Manu Thought Radley really set the tone that was needed to match the Broncos physically. Ted was outstanding but Radley my best. Manu just pips Sualli'i due the latter's one lapse on Walsh for their first try but both were outstanding. May another who was tremendous...

    The Game 2024 Membership

They offer all registered players the chance to buy a reduced membership which is fair enough. Not sure how many take it up.

    General Roosters chatter

Yeah his son plays there so that'd be his side.

    Who have you met ??

Yeah I actually knew him way before I met Shannon but haven't seen him for years now. And yep, always a top bloke.

    Who have you met ??

Too many to name, but most memorable: Big Artie at the old Easts Rules club at Bondi Junction. I was completely star struck. Tricky Trindall - one of the nicest, most charasmatic blokes you could meet until the demon drink took hold...oh boy wasn't that a night. Luke Davico - At a bux...

    General Roosters chatter

Gus also spent time playing for Bondi United when he was boarding in Sydney at his private school. Unfortunately Billy Smith, despite being Bronte through and through, played very limited junior league (he was a union player) in the Souffs juniors comp.

    General Roosters chatter

Shame about Corey Allen. Reckon he did a great job for us when needed this year. Would've been good to keep him as a depth player.

    Roosters name & logo

The 2007/08 emblem is the best I have seen. It's perfect and I always wished that they'd adopt it permanently. As for the name, they're still Easts to me and always will be. No one calls them Sydney and at the end of the day, I'm not sure it really matters anymore...I've definitely softened on...

    SF storm 3 2 1s

Unbelievably I'm still yet to see the game. It was my daughter's birthday so we were out for dinner. I kept track of the score and shortly before we were home we were down 12 - 6 and as I walked in, turned the tv on I saw Walker pot his field goal. I couldn't believe we were leading. I was...
