Round 8 v Roosters Anzac Day

That backline of the chooks is enough to bust the salary sombrero just on their own. Imagine having 2 of the best 5 fullbacks in the world in your backline. After paying this lot then you have 23 more players to fit in……Roostersmath.

Round 8 v Roosters Anzac Day

I was so pleased to see Hunt signal to Liddle to use his head after this penalty was given - and that we subsequently held strong against the attempted change of momentum. In the past we drop the dummy, Hunt drops the dummy - on Friday they copped it, accepted it was their stupid mistake and...

    Zac Lomax

my gut feel on Lomax is 2024 is not his last season in the red V. He may do a Gasnier and be welcomed back in a couple of years once he realises the errors of his ways.

Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

what little bit more are we looking for? He showed when he gets the ball he is very effective and other teams are aware of how forceful he is. He rarely gets beaten in defence, he is fine by me.

Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

At the game it was so noticeable when De Belin came on, we got faster, cleverer and tougher instantly. He is a real weapon when played off the bench, hope they stick to it.

Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

it is a big call and a huge match to make it for. Perhaps your second observation answers your first and he slots Bird in for Sua who did appear to hurt something there near full time and may need a weeks rest.

Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

Bird has done ok at centre, better than I expected. A centre has to be able to pass, Bird set Lomax up with a nice catch and pass - just as a centre should. Suli does not pass, limits our attack to one side and gives his winger nothing. He needs to either learn to set up his teammates or move...

Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

First game of the season I have been able to get to and I can't wait to be on the hill cheering on the boys on Friday evening at WIN. Hoping they can kick on from last week and try to tame the Warriors beast side. Looking forward to seeing Lomax soar above RTS to score a couple of spectacular...

    Zac Lomax

Similar though - when up 18-4 they bombed an absolute certain try to make it 24-4 and once that happened they fell apart pretty quickly.

    Zac Lomax

Zac is a SOO level winger. Well done Shane Flanagan, I had great doubts.

    Rnd 6 vs Tigers

3 from 6 is a solid start, showed today they are better than in recent years

    Zac Lomax

I dont blame him, he has made the call and I believe he will thrive at Parra. We must move on and do a lot better in the future when we stumble upon an emerging talent within our club system, instead of whatever it was that happened with Lomax over a period of 4 years.

    Rnd 6 vs Tigers

I just wish we were good enough where the referee does not matter. The fact is we drop the bundle with poor calls made against us and with poor errors made by us. A lot of growing up to do in the head before we worry about what ref we have assigned to our game.

    Zac Lomax

E What in the f is Hunt doing here? He cannot be serious coming out to the media with this stuff, this is just the fodder the media and Dragon haters want to hear and see. How does this unnecessary talk help the team that he is leading (down the toilet). Things aren't getting better until he...

    R3 v Cowboys

I agree with the mentally weak observation, you just know these guys are going to play the way they did on Sunday almost before the match starts. Then once something goes wrong against them in the actual game it soon becomes a matter of how far they lose by. This is Flanagan's big challenge -...

    R2 v Dolphins.

It was a strip, it was a try, not sure if it was a turning point, but we copped it as we alway do and then spat the dummy. Hunt is not a good captain, not at all, he is always the first to drop his bundle, the opposite of a real leader.

The whoLe debacle felt like Hook was back at the helm. Wow, such rubbish after such a promising performance last week. SMH.

    R2 v Dolphins.

you just cant have a crap set of six these days, they will eat you alive. That was a crap set, got what it deserved.

    R1 v Titans.

If he plays like last night every week then yeah SOO is a chance, what a revelation, had his best game Ive seen him play and now all I want to see is him as a winger, Flanagan is a genius, no one on earth predicted it was the right move for Lomax, but him.
