    Trial updates

8-4 at half time to the good guys. Reggies for both teams first half. Holmes played fullback and looked very good. Nu brown and Luetele got the tries. Brown's was a great solo effort. Lots of penalties in or favour helped, but overall a decent half. Holdsworth played the last 20 and looked ok.

    Don't tell me

Reports are that Earl has been pretty much done on a technicality - getting the peptide off someone, then giving it to his doctor, who ultimately injected him with it. This comes within the definition of trafficking under the WADA code. Probably once they had him on that count (and the...

Organised crime and ElephantJuice in sport investigation part IV

FAO Shiznit. Brent Read may be wrong. Earl may be charged with trafficking to fellow athletes. But under the definition of trafficking in the code (and, here's the hint, "to any third party" means more than just athletes), Read could be right. Read it again.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

Haha, read the definition in the Code, you fool.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

Don't think so. This is the definition in the WADA Code: Trafficking: Selling, giving, transporting, sending, delivering or distributing a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method (either physically or by any electronic or other means) by an Athlete, Athlete Support Personnel or any other...

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

Yep, and Perth Red and his merry band of dickheads in this thread are still going on about dominoes. This country.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

Brent Read on the Rush Hour reckons the trafficking part of the charge relates to Earl getting the pep from somewhere and then giving it to his doctor, who then injected him with it. Nothing to do with supply to team mates. Seems like they have a ridiculously broad definition of the term...

    Paul Kent agenda

I don't understand why people just accept his opinions uncritically. "Kenty" is seen as some kind of guru, the man with the inside word, the good oil. Whereas in reality he's just a dumb as dogshit rumour whore.

    Paul Gallen vs Brian Smith

He was at the game last night.

Cronulla Scandal - tonight on 7.30 Report ABC

According to Cullen on Triple M this morning: "The one thing I want to emphasise... is the club never has and didn't exceed the salary cap limits with regards to dollar payments? but if you're going to have third party and marketing agreements they've got to be documented." So we would...

    ABC 7:30 Report

I think your being a little disingenuous there, tbh. A lot of Sharks fans will have watched that report last night and thought that it didn't contain any new explosive allegations. The salary cap breach, the Flanagan account, Cullen's criticism, even Dank's use of dodgy chemists - all of...

    ABC 7:30 Report

Lol, no I didn't. I am questioning what benefit you think can be gained from posting vague allusions to more damaging revelations to come, allusions which cannot (rightly) then be elaborated upon. It was just a general question about your posting style, really, and not meant to be bait. I...

    ABC 7:30 Report

I accept that. So then where is the benefit in giving out these hints to all of us that there is more of this nightmare to come? Not sure if it's very helpful, tbh. But back to last night's report. Do you believe that anything in there, situated in its proper context, is damaging to the club...

    ABC 7:30 Report

Haha, mate, you are a really dumb man. As dumb as James Hooper and Josh Massoud. No idea why people get so worked up about you. ASADA doesn't "want" anything. They are purely an investigative body.

    ABC 7:30 Report

You're still wrong. They may issue an infraction notice against a player, but not sanctions. They dont even issue infraction notices against a club, let alone recommend sanctions against a club. You obviously aren't able to understand how this works, so there is no point discussing it any...

    ABC 7:30 Report

Ffs, ASADa doesn't suspend players or clubs. The NRL does. Suspension is one option available to it, but not mandatory. Hard to believe people keep getting this wrong.

    ABC 7:30 Report

Ok, so what was new in that report that was truly damaging? There may well be more, and by all means please let us fellow fans know, but i can't see anything in that report that was new that was damaging, and I'm not wearing a tinfoil hat.

    ABC 7:30 Report

In the screen grab of the Kavanagh report, they showed some document that suggested the use of GHRP 6 was given the green light after Dank had done an ASADA search. Yet a simple google search shows athletes were already being banned for using it in 2011. Just seems so odd.
