    I'd much prefer Hopgood (24), he's a great Lock with all the skills and excellent defence. Matterson (29) is a good defender but offers little in x-factor or attack plus we don't need more aging 2nd rowers.

    Get Billy Slater in to train him up a bit, apparently Billy's willing to do it. Slater is probably the best fullback I've witnessed in my lifetime after Changa, so if he's available you'd be mad not to get him in for a few sessions with Sloan.

    Sele might have aggravated that hammy. I was hoping to see Fifita get a run in place of maybe FMolo, he was strong in reserves as was Toby C, great defence and good metres. MMolo has more impact than his brother but Francis is the better defender I guess.

    Hunt is a great kicker except when he's under pressure to get it away quick before he gets smashed - that's on our forwards for not taking charge on the 4th and 5th to get a quick play the ball to give Hunt or Kyle some room and time to put in a decent kick.     A couple of things from that game - I'm really proud of the boys, don't get me wrong but - Hunt is still trying to do too much. Kyle has a decent kicking game but again kicked only twice while Hunt kicked 16 times - that's not only unnecessary, it lets the opposition know what's going to happen...
