    In Pete's defence, it wouldn't. Pete has been pretty solid on this, go back a couple years when Wighton punched Feki and Feki didn't strike back but still got binned. He was against that at the time too while Skeepe on the other hand was seeing phantom punches thrown in retaliation.

    The Rock Eisteddfod is long gone, but still little comps that are similar are put on by councils, charities and so on. So pretty good marketing to get one held on field at half time during the dreaded dead crowd origin period.

    Pretty much a competition, often charity, for arts and culture. Fair amount of them around like the old Rock Eisteddfod for NSW schools that would get televised.

    There we go, dance eisteddfod at half time for the kids on field. He kicked on and off with Flash before we got Maloney. Apart from one shocking game last year I think, his goal kicking has been fantastic, especially the drop goals in the 9's.

    I think how badly Pierce was offside was the real killer and why it was blown. Most offsides on a field goal are maybe a metre in front of the ref or left the line a second early, not actually behind the play the ball.

    Yup, while sure it was late and took a while for it to be blown he got involved multiple times. So there can be zero arguement that it wasn't a valid penalty, they merely played advantage to see if anything eventuated before blowing the whistle.
