Dragons table three-year deal to Moses Suli

Do you guys think the travelling schedule for the guys to get to Wollongong has any impact on the field? I feel like it does. Not sure how a guy like Suli would enjoy the commute. That said Suli is a confidence player. Needs a good coach who will go out to bat for him. Hopefully the culture...

    King Gutho

While he has been at the Eels, they have been hovering in that top 4. There's no denying that he's part of the reason. He needs others to take it to next level. Not sure he would come to us unless it was for money. And I think you'd have to pay at least 850K.

One Dragons Player You Could Have Back

Probably one of the forwards. They don't need anything to do their job well enough. Guys like Saab and Garrick rely a lot on Turbo to get going. See how bad they go without a star to get try assists. Overall no real loss in that list which speaks volumes of our player development.

    Round 22 vs Panthers

Man so disappointing when you try and make comparisons across the team, the panthers are so stacked.

    That Will Not Do!!!!!!

There is asterix on this seasons performance and you can't argue its amazing we've been in the 8 up till this point and there is still a chance. The clean up of players has begun and 2022 will be a true test. Bird with second season and JDB will establish whether he has still got it. A few...

    Sack Griffin

A lot of Griffins picks have been stop gaps and arguably could have paid off it wasn't for stupid behavior, I think we would be entrenched in the top 8. That said I don't feel like Griffin is the guy that leads a club truly forward. He is great for building a core/base and it will take another...

    The Rumours Thread

Regardless of the outcome, Lomax just publicizing his immaturity. Did he really need to hit the unfollow button and change his bio? Definitely feels like a cultural issue with players still not getting it.

    The Rumours Thread

Its sad to see the Dragons and West Tigers picking up the scraps from other teams all the time. Looks like Dogs have almost completed their transformation while us and tigers keep running on the same treadmill of mediocrity. Wish we went harder for Gus. Dogs did most of their reset without him...

    Dragons statement: Player breach

Exactly, a country that didnt really give a shit. If you believe the statistics, even remotely, thats 100k+ deaths. If they dont care to act during normal times, are you really expecting change during football? I can't recall but were there fines? Assume no laws were broken or it was all hush...

    Paul Vaughan

Correct. You can pin it on Vaughan as he was the host. Maybe if you had proof from text messages of who instigated the party at best

    DeBellin

Yes unless they have given him a warning to not misbehave. That said I dont think they can legally use his court case against him. But this would certainly but his last chance. He should be counting his blessings and keeping a low profile. Always thought his re-signing was a bad move on the...

    Dragons statement: Player breach

Has to be legally justified firing and I dont think JDB and Norman qualify unless JDB and Norman instigated the party. Vaughan has runs on the board at the club and it was a party at his house.

    Paul Vaughan

In isolation you could possibly try and argue it. That said multiple breaches of protocol, laws and team orders means giving him the boot is not unjustified. Even if you dont believe in covid you still need to follow the rules. Vaughan and Co are part of a wider culture problem at the Dragons...

    Dragons statement: Player breach

I did say most serve it in 1 week. Not sure what the actual stipulations is? If they can game it so the suspensions are taken against weak teams then that is probably the best option but feels dirty being able to manipulate a bad situation. For me best to get it out of the way as fast as possible

    Dragons statement: Player breach

Tactically it makes sense to get as much of the suspensions out early and move on. Have the most and best of the 13 serve suspensions. Vaughan can play against Manly and see what he was responsible for.

    Matt Dufty

Ive heard numbers quoted and they are on the higher side. 3 years is the typical. Is he worth more or less than Hynes? Given we think we know his limits I think he's worth less.

    Matt Dufty

My take on the Dufty contract is yes we want him, but we don't necessarily want to pay him a huge amount or lock him in for too long. He seems like a short term prospect for us to contest a premiership.

    Moses Suli

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/dragons-dramas-force-moses-suli-to-rethink-2m-three-year-offer-20200602-p54ynu.html I think we dodged a bullet. Not so much that Suli is a bad player, its just not the right time for a player of his mindset. Would definitely regress with our negative attitude...

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/dragons-dramas-force-moses-suli-to-rethink-2m-three-year-offer-20200602-p54ynu.html This guy needs discipline. I dont think he will go well under Mary and our current structures. I certainly wouldnt want us paying overs for him.

Spud Carroll calls for Hunt to be dropped.

Hunt cops it because he is our marquee player. Comes with the money. You get picked for SOO on club form. Norman got picked largely due to his time with parra. None of these guys deserve it this year.
