    Take Cameron Smith for example. If he is on $1.2 mil a year that works out to be $100k per month. He has already been paid for 5 months $500k. If he gets 55% of his wage for the next 7 months that is $385k instead of $700k. That means $885k total for the year. Which is 73.75%.

    My understanding is that the players are taking a pay cut of 45% from now till October where the pay year finishes for the nrl. The players have received 100% over the past 5 months and will get ~55% the rest of the year (45% decrease). Which roughly equates to 75%. By having the nrl play games...
