    Yes well to tell you the truth thought Lomax's defence in Charity Shield was a bit ordinary. Ravalawa looked very strong. Maybe a few weeks in reggies to work on his defence will do him good.

    Agree wholeheartedly Frank. With no Vaughan we really need Jack to charge it up and bend the line. He's slipped back into his ball playing role but we have Hunt and Gaz there to do that and fold them in half in defence like early in the season!

    Slater has pulled out. Wouldn't surprise me if Panthers win now. In that case more likely we will play Broncos @ SFS or ANZ (assuming we win) Really depends who has the bigger win Broncs or Warriors as only 3 points separate there +/-

    With Gypsy and Aitken out he will need to either Bring Field in at 5/8 and Mann to centres Or leave Mann at 5/8 and Lomax to centre. I would go with option 1. If Field does well, then next week put him to fullback when Widdop returns He has been excellent in ISP and with a bigger frame a bit...

    Terrible news, Lance Thompson passes away overnight

    Lance was a Dragons legend. I recall the time he took a pay cut so the club could recruit/retain other players. You don't see too many players doing that these days. RIP Lance, you will be sorely missed.

    Wonder why they ruled Vaughan out for the season immediately. Is it really that bad? If we were to make it through to the GF (wishful thinking) that would be almost 6 weeks from the injury - any chance??

    Vaughan is a massive lost. We need to bring Host back onto the bench, need his size and strength. JP to miss out. Use the rotation Host, Latimore, Luc + Lawrie - 20 minutes each Graham + LAM 40 minutes each Backrowers full 80 minutes - if we need to give one a rest extend Luc's minutes Go Drags!
