    Opinion Penrith

15 minutes - forward pass from Luia. 20 minutes - 40/20 from Walters obviously goes out, not called and not replayed. 23 minutes - Cobbo tackled without the ball - no penalty. 24 minutes - Walsh knock back called knock on. 27 minutes - Tago head high on Walsh not penalised, goal line drop out to...

Round 6 vs. Penrith Panthers Discussion

So its now "potential libel" to state the bleeding obvious? One wonders how much Broncos fans are willing to be screwed week-in-week-out until they stand up with some courage? Seems forever. So many today are just limp wristed sooks.

After watching the Q Cup Grand Final, I tend to agree about Cobbo. Should be the first choice fullback next year.

    Corey Jensen

He scored a few tries - which is more than most front rowers in the game. Bullemore has the goods for a young prop. Let's remember that typically props take until they are 25 to start showing the true potential. He's already showing he can make good metres in the middle, and break tackles close...

    Corey Jensen

Carrigan is being groomed as a future captain - probably after Josh Reynolds leaves. Hethrington will be a fantastic bench player, so I'd imagine Carrigan (who is typically close to an 80 minute player) will get the 13.

    Corey Jensen

I'd put Carrigan in the Josh McGuire category. Will probably lead hit-ups in most games, consistent, but not outstanding.

    Corey Jensen

Signing Jensen and Ryan, while letting Bullemore go makes little sense. One look at Jensen's average run metres ... well ... he's a defensive forward, let's put it nicely. Ryan couldn't make the Canberra team for most of the season. Meanwhile Bullemore showed in multiple games this year, he...

    Tesi Niu

Nui looks likely to be a fantastic fullback who just needs to work on his ball playing skills. But hey - all the great fullbacks take time to develop that attribute - Slater, Boyd, Tedesco all took time. Give him time. He seems too small for the centres, and not up to tackling edge forwards.

    Albert Kelly

Kelly reminds me of Cody Walker in some ways. Huge talent, but as a young man, didn't have the capacity to control and funnel that talent. Now as a mature player, I see Kelly improving greatly in the next two years. I see him as an ideal half partner with Reynolds.

    Reece Walsh

The NRL have said that a second Brisbane team is worth $25 million a year for the NRL. Last night - after bagging the Broncos - Bidel said that the NRL have asked for proposals from the three suits for the second Brisbane franchise. Then this morning, Wally Lewis announces to the world that...

    Reece Walsh

I have no doubt in my mind that the strategic controlled demolition of the club is in play - no doubt at all. I've been in the corporate and non-profit worlds and this type of thing is common. Money and power are the controlling forces - not good faith. I've been in situations where you...

“Conspiracy theory” - a meaningless term used by the brain dead to avoid thinking or debate. If you think two words can be used to quash overwhelming evidence of a well planned controlled demolition of a club’s success mounting up by the day - then you deserve to live in the fabricated...

    Reece Walsh

One wonders when Broncos fans are going to wake up their club is being purposely sabotaged from within and with the assistance of the NRL and media, to smooth the way for a second SE Queensland team. The NRL has said that this club would be worth $50 million to them - and they are pulling all...

    Broncos Recruitment

Benji playing centre? Yeah ... and Boyd's playing front row.

    Jack Reed retires

Reed scored one of the great individual tries I've seen. Always solid in defence and an above average attacking game. Played injured for the last couple of years, and who knows how better he would have been playing fully fit.

    Broncos Recruitment

You could be right DJ ... could be exactly why Bennett switched Thaiday to the left and Glenn to the centre at the end of the year - and it worked a treat. I thought Glenn was one of the best forwards in our last few games.

    Broncos Recruitment

Gillett is an elite player now ... probably one of the first picked for an Australian team. His attack has been a little down of late, but defensively, the best fringe forward in the game bar none. With Parker gone next year, he'll take on a greater leadership role.It will be interesting if...

Finals Week 1 vs Titans Discussion + Voting

Can't decide - Dragons 09 is either Phil Gould or Brad Fittler ... one or the other.

    Broncos Recruitment

Idris ... too soft for a forward, and too slow for a back.

    Broncos Recruitment

Idris is a personality player, not unlike Sailor. His personality precedes him, and I'm still not convinced of his actual talent on the football field.
