    Easts move to Narellan

Pretty sure Earl is a westie who signed with Roosters for a gig.

    The Joint Venture Is Broken

That's the sort of thing I was looking for. Pretty good indication of the value of the area.

    The Joint Venture Is Broken

Ah, right. Just looking at blokes from the area that came good. Merely a comment on the value of the area. Trimarchi did alright for himself too.

    The Joint Venture Is Broken

I had a few cracks at that and can't work out who? I think this has past me by a little.

    Off Season Recovery

To be fair to Head, he did appear to be setting up more trys than Benji and Robbie together when he got dropped.

    John Grant to Wests Tigers

Peni was poorly managed, in my unscientific opinion. He put too much weight on too quickly and his body couldn't support it. No wonder he was perpetually injured. That he couldn't catch also didn't help. Not playing any football probably contributed to that, though.

    Pre-Season favourites.

I agree with the point about probably missing our window. 2010 we were best. 2011 we faced less competition... next year even less... but we're weaker.

    Foran and Forum Dills

What of the two repeats in the latter stages of the game when Kearney threw every one on and Benji got the impetus to start having a go?

    4 nations game 7 - 4 nations final - ENG V AUS

CH is a special for getting tired and not getting back in the defensive line, pushing up or turning around after the opposition kick. I wouldn't have him, but Mac surely won't get rid of him.

    Foran and Forum Dills

Wanker mode: So before the tournament we were discussing who the halfback for the Kiwis should be. Some bell end, whose name I don't remember, was utterly convinced Foran was the man. Normally I wouldn't come out with "I told you so", but this bloke was a knob from the top shelf, so I'm going...

    Golden Boot?

It'll almost certainly be Tomkins now. Benji blew it. Thurston was injured too much, though in good form. Slater injured when in good form. Chase not gunna catch Tomkins unless he wins the final himself.

Rugby League gains foothold in India

Nope, thus the query. I've no doubt they'd soon produce some great athletes, but would there be much in the way of prop forwards?

    Robert Lui Rides North: Goodbye

Every one knows this is probably the one serious point I've ever made on here. I've always thought there was a case for picking perhaps a less talented player, but one who brought us a tactic we've thrown away seasons for not having.

    4 Nations game 4 - England v Australia

It was literally just that Origin style composure and intensity that let them down. They kept coming for 80, which I've never seen before. Not having Graham and Ellis, with Peacock on one leg definitely didn't help. If they could play at a proper intensity for longer periods you'd have an...

    Historic Rugby League footage thread

Any chance anybody knows where the clips of the French 1951 tour are. Frank Hyde voiced the highlights, I believe.

    4 Nations game 4 - England v Australia

This is the story. Big Mac was furious. Cautious to stress he wasn't blaming the ref for the loss. Shifty Sheens played it cool and made out like he didn't have anything to do with the pressure that built during the week.
