    International TV Coverage

Well as one of the games is a 6.30am kickoff I was hoping to watch on my laptop. Anyone know anything about international coverage? I know you could stream NRL anywhere this year where there wasn’t an official broadcaster.

    International TV Coverage

Hi All, Loving the World Cup so far. I'm heading to Iceland for a few days over this weekend, but hoping to still watch a couple of games, namely Samoa - Tonga and England - Lebanon. Is there a way to legally watch these games? I've got premier sports in the UK, but I'm assuming that won't...

    France

I really hope France do well in this World Cup, but my head says Lebanon will beat them. Can't see why the bookies have France as favourites. Lebanon has a few brilliant players surrounded by some hardened fringe first graders and second tier players. That combined with effectively home ground...

    If we....

Anyone know what day we'll play if we finish first or third?

    Rep Weekend - Shark players

Surprised Feki didn't make the starting side for Tonga. He seems so under-rated outside of our club. I think he's regularly one of our best, week in week out.

    Junior Sharks in Finals

Great stuff. Can't remember the last time we've had both Matthews and SG Ball teams make the top 4. Is this a sign of greater investment in our junior ranks now that we've got a little more resources?

Leutele & Feki vs Ayshford & Wright

I'm another who'd like to see Feki have a go in the centres. I think he could be the crack centre we've been looking for in recent years.

    Sam Tomkins signs with Warriors

Sam Tomkins is absolute quality, he is a mile ahead of any outside back or half England have produced in the 15 years or so I've been following the English game. I think he can become renowned as one of the top 5 players in the NRL and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the Dally M during his 3...

    Brough commits to Scotland

After watching Widdop play today he think he's got to have the 6 jersey for England. I have traditionally not been a fan, but today I really think he showed some touches of International level class. I now think he's the real deal and the big question for England is finding a 7 that can work...

    Peachey.

Wow, first highlights I've seen of Peach the second and I'm super impressed. He's the forward version of his uncle, with that beautiful dummy and playing like he's got all the time in the world. Gotta get him into firsts, as our attack needs a bit of spark! I haven't seen Lichaa play, but from...

    Feck you DUI Bec

I refuse to click on the link to read it. Won't give her the pleasure. But the scariest part of this whole drugs controversy is that certain people are likely to use it to push their agenda to to get rid of or relocate our club. The decisions of certain people who have only been at the club...

Sharks announcement 10.00am Irvine to step down

I too would like to publicly thank Damo for this work as Chairman. I have little doubt he's the best chairman we've had since Peter Gow, and it's a great shame he's had to fall on his sword. I certainly hope he does stand at the next election and members vote him back in. I also had the...

What young'ns will get a run this year??

Interesting! He didn't do much at London Broncos a couple of years back, but was only pretty young. He got a few first team games at Catalan last year, who aren't a bad side. So you never know, he might get a few games but I can't see him getting ahead of chad in the pecking order for halves.

What young'ns will get a run this year??

Always interested in these threads, despite being totally out of the loop. Is this the same Tony Gigot who has played for France?

Thomond Park - What's an acceptable crowd?

I've been over to Limerick a few times for tag events since being in the UK and they are definitely Rugby mad over there. So I think there is potential for this match to do well crowd wise. I guess the potential for a flogging might put a few people off, but in general I think the locals would...

TV Coverage of Sharks/Blues games in San Francisco

Definitely the Walkabout. They almost certainly won't be open at 9am though, so you will need to call them up in advance to make sure they record it. They'll then be able to play it back at a time that doesn't clash with any other major UK sport. Other than that find someone who has Premier...

Is the Rugby season too long

RL is struggling a little in the heartlands of England at the moment. A lot however is down to the state of the British economy which is badly struggling, aprticularly outside of London. If Super League crowds can come in close to an average record in 2012 then that will be a very good result...

    Tony sage

Was just gonna post something similar. I'd never heard of him until I read this article. http://www.foxsports.com.au/league/nrl-premiership/perth-glory-owner-tony-sage-hopes-to-replicates-nathan-tinklers-newcastle-model-for-nrl-team-in-perth/story-fn2mcuj6-1226249987509 Maybe he'd be...

    Why do we ignore Touch?

RL has missed the boat with touch. The rules have even evolved to be something that is no longer that similar to RL. Tag however, still remains almost identical to RL with it's rules. The game has strong links to RL in the UK, Malta and Norway. There are 30,000 registered tag players in...

    OT Tomkins Brothers

Agreed. Sadly for us though he's now well and truly locked up by Wigan. He's just signed a new 5 year deal making him the highest paid player in England. It even has a clause saying he can't talk to NRL or English Union clubs for the first 3 yerars. Great news for English Rugby League!
