What happens if it's still a draw?

The current Laws as linked from the NRL site suggest no change i.e. there's no mention of a continuance after a score http://www.nrl.com/portals/nrl/RadEditor/Documents/NRL%20Rules%20book%202013FINAL.pdf

    Crowd Watch, Part III

It's kind of the second finals DH, in 1960 there was a wacky four-way play off for 2nd to 4th which involved a DH on a Tuesday.

This will be Souths' 2000th first grade game. They have won 1031.

    Crowd Watch, Part III

Both crowds at Stadium OZ and Endeavour have been given as 15,313 - not impossible, but does anybody know anything different?

How many of you here go to the games in the weekend?

Tomorrow will be my 369th consecutive Canberra home game, not counting the two home games that we played away.

No team has ever won the premiership after conceding 50pts in a regular season match

The Cowboys made the GF in 2005 after having two 50s stuck on them during the season. Hope for the Squeels yet.

    Crowd Watch 2013

All of a sudden, out of the blue, they're spruiking "NRL only" records, which are fictional. http://www.nrl.com.au/dogs-south-clash-breaks-records/tabid/10874/newsid/71442/default.aspx It's the 8th biggest single H&A game crowd, four of the top seven are Brisbane's.

Can Nathan Merritt score more tries in a season than an entire NRL team?

Last happened in 1963, when Puff's 24 tries outscored Wests' 22. Unsurprisingly, Dave Brown's 38 tries outscoring Uni's 21 is the biggest margin.

I'm hoping this is only a (temporary) server misconfiguration.

    What do the touchies do?

Nonsense. The LU community would reflect with quiet equanimity about the difficult nature of the task, how one's perception of events is coloured by team allegiances, and drawing on their own vast experience of officiating, be quite satisfied with the job being done.

    Your Worst Case GF Scenario

2nd worst outcome of the top 8 (after Cantberbury v Brisbane). I can see myself not really bothering.

Great news for everyone. The festival of the boot is back.

I too would be very interested in their older stuff To anyone who missed them on Triple M http://www.triplem.com.au/brisbane/shows/royandhg/podcasts The few I sampled all seem to be still working. I've listened to them all more than once. Some of the This Sporting Life podcasts are also...

    Spoiler: Double Movement?

I'm a Manly supporter, both tries had doubt (hardly "clear as day" as the cryfest in the other thread has it). But BOTD should go to the defending team, and had both disallowed. I actually thought the first one was less convincing than the 2nd

    Cowboys robbed clear as day

Heh, the more impotent crying, the sweeter the win.

Roy Masters speaking the truth again?

They can do that without Government money, the NRL, AFL and Super Rugby are large scale commercial operations. It would be better spent lower down the sporting hierarchy, or even on other social programs.

Roy Masters speaking the truth again?

They piss away money to the Raiders and Brumbies too, it's just what governments do. Presumably there's some rhetoric that goes with it. Masters: "Politicians shouldn't forget the people of the ACT didn't call themselves Canberrans until the Raiders won the 1989 premiership with a team based in...

The raiders are doing a eels of 09

Which is Exhibit A in the case of us being very unlikely to get far into the finals.
