    2023 R23 Fri - Gold Coast 18-28 Warriors @ Cbus Super

And a player sent off for a tackle so severe it resulted in a one match suspension. Fantastic stuff.

    2023 R23 Fri - Gold Coast 18-28 Warriors @ Cbus Super

A bit late to the party, but that Niukore sin bin was completely bizarre. I was watching the KAYO Bite and I could not work out what had happened. I thought Fifita was going to go if anyone did. Niukore cops a forearm to the face, then gets forcefully pushed/palmed in the face and as he’s...

    2023 R23 Thu - Sydney 26-16 Manly @ SCG

He only left the ground after he bounced off him so the rationale for the send off was incorrect. Regardless, it looks like he's barely getting a suspension too. Any tackle worthy of a send off should be 4 plus weeks in my opinion. I'm not arguing whether it should or shouldn't be a send off...

Rd17: EELS v Dolphins GAME DAY THREAD @ Sunshine Coast Stadium 24/6/23

Whether or not there's a lack of intelligence I don't know, but I feel like theirs a a lack of fight sometimes. The job's done, lets cruise to the finish line. Every minute should be used to get better and iron out the bugs. This core group has been together quite some time, along with the...

Rd17: EELS v Dolphins GAME DAY THREAD @ Sunshine Coast Stadium 24/6/23

Being ruthless doesn't mean trying to score off every play. It means keeping your foot on their throat and not letting them into the game. It doesn't mean scoring 42 again. Its making sure every play matters. Ruthless is what Penrith and Melbourne are at their best. We are generally not ruthless...

    2023 Origin II - Wed 21 Jun - QLD 32-6 NSW @ Suncorp

The NSW forwards were absolutely awful in the second half. I don't think anyone in the backline received the ball with any momentum the entire time. Paulo continuing his half arsed club form. I had to double check if Frizell played. I don't know, but couldn't Murray have filled in at centre once...

    2023 Origin II - Wed 21 Jun - QLD 32-6 NSW @ Suncorp

No way that challenge is unsuccessful in a clab game.

    2023 R16 Fri - North Qld 27-23* Penrith @ QLD Country Bank

He had the ball in his hand and it didn't come away from his hand until someone directly played at it and knocked it out. If his arm was knocked and he lost it that would be different. Only one person knocked the ball on and it wasn't Hiku.

    2023 R16 Fri - North Qld 27-23* Penrith @ QLD Country Bank

Agree about the knock on. It's essentially a one on one strip but then knocked on by the Penrith player. The ball was was directly played at. I don't even understand why it would be questioned.

    2023 R6 Sat - Brisbane 14-20 Canberra @ Suncorp

A player was elbowed in the head and knocked out earlier in the game too. That was also an accident.

Week 2 Finals: Parra v Raiders GAME DAY THREAD @ Commbank 16/9/22

Exactly, as soon as he touchesd the ball with his hand he had possession. It doesn't matter that couldn't control the ball. Until the ball hits the ground or another player he is in possession.

    2022 FW2 SF Fri - Parramatta 40-4 Canberra @ CommBank

As soon as he touches the ball he is fair game anyway. Fair challenge from Mahoney regardless.

Rd23: Parra v Bulldogs GAME DAY THREAD @ Commbank 20/8/22

I think the biggest thing about Reed's game yesterday was that he actually moved with the ball in hand. Up until this game I was unsure whether or not he could manage the multi-tasking required of holding a ball and moving his legs at the same time. It was the most varied performance I've seen...

Team list Tuesday Rnd 21 vs Sea Eagles 🦅

It depends on how you define letting us down. Has he been awful in every game except his debut? I would say yes. There are some players that play at their own pace and appear to have all the time in the world. Jake plays at his own pace while everyone around him continues at full speed so he has...

    2022 R20 Thu - Manly 10-20 Sydney @ 4 Pines

Isn't this what multiculturalism is though? People coming from different cultures and importing that culture into society. It's a difficult one because I'm not sure you can have it both ways. As integration is basically considered racist, how can you have a go at people for being true to their...

Team list Tuesday - Round 19 vs Broncos

And not a versatile back either... or one that is good at any particular position. I was excited to see Ky Rodwell given a shot. I guess I'll have to keep waiting, but when you get the chance to include a bog standard halfback on the bench instead it's hard to turn it down.

    2022 R14 Mon - Canterbury 34-4 Parramatta @ Accor

I'm just glad we've always got an excuse unlike other teams where those things don't seem to matter. I was thinking we were playing with no effort now so we could play well at the end of the year, but I'll take your one.

    2022 R12 Sun - Canberra 20-28 Parramatta @ GIO

Yes. As soon as he touched the ball with his hand he was in possession, surely. So if a player is juggling the ball you can't tackle them?

    2022 R2 Fri - St Geo Illa 16-20 Penrith @ Netstrata Jubilee

That's not late (the sin bin). There was nothing in it and he clearly was just about to make contact before the ball was passed. So basically you can't line up a halfback for a big hit because they may pass it.
