    Jackson Topine sues Bulldogs

Can't wait for all the "He's too soft" posters to feign support for Men's Mental Health later on. The reality is that none of us know what has exactly happened in this situation. Let it play out and we will see the outcome. If the Bulldogs are found to have been abusive, there is no rational...

Braydon Trindall fails roadside alcohol and drug testing

A dumb act by Trindall. Glad the Sharks were quick to act (not that they would have had much choice eventually). Without knowing context of any issues Trindall is going through, I hope he gets any support he needs. But just a really dumb and dangerous act. Really a shame taking attention away...

2024 Match Review & Judiciary charges

Congratulations MRC. Your lack of action against Luai in the second round has now lead to tripping effectively being given the green light in the game.

    Ref and Bunker Decisions

Once he complained about the Dom Young send off, he lost any credibility to complain. As for his complaints with the two bunker decisions. - Katoa Try - The rule is that the player should not lend weight to gain an advantage. NAS provide a touch but I don't think there is any weight added to...

    Opinion Penrith

And still named to play. Add this to his suspension for being convicted of assault being delayed until after the finals - why does the NRL protect Taylan May?

    Ref and Bunker Decisions

Must have missed where I wrote "I don't think it has been correctly called for a long time". One of those situations where a referee penalises a player for not using his foot in the play the ball. It's technically right, but it hasn't been applied for years.

    Ref and Bunker Decisions

One thing I want to point out, because I saw it a lot on social media last night. The instance where Chrichton (I think?) knocked the ball forward and then batted it back was correctly called a knock-on - though it's a very technical rule that I don't think has been correctly called for a long...

    2024 R5 Sun - Canberra 41-8 Parramatta @ GIO

They were talking about “how can you tell” when she literally said based on the live decision they were would support Levi offside at the point of the kick. it’s a big issue I have with commentators, they don’t listen to what’s actually being called.

Yep, offside when the ball is kicked but the kicker runs him onside. Very good call by the bunker.

I’m convinced Fogarty missed that last conversion to avoid a ‘14-nil dickhead’ situation.

Tackle wasn’t complete and ball went backwards, so why the whistle?

A couple of more tries for the Raiders and the Eels will have them right where they want them.

    Ref and Bunker Decisions

Thanks for sending this through - I hadn’t seen anything on this. Not sure if Klein called surrender or not. I will say though, this is change is really a negative for the game. I don’t understand the reason for rewarding such negative play by ball carriers.

    Ref and Bunker Decisions

Nope, the rule says when a defending player "places a hand" on the player. A hand was never placed on the Broncos player.
