    The best part is that he plays in the one position we have more than enough depth in. So much depth that he is unlikely to be necessary even with a significant injury toll... Use the spot to try and sign a hooker? Or an outside back? Or an edge forward?

    The garbage players in the bottom 10 would be OK if we had 5-6 out and out Origin stars being paid well. But we are paying Origin $ for guys who aren't at that level. 3 spots free is ridiculous. Especially when we have Harper in the top 27.....

    Yeah - sadly his pay is double his value on the footy field. Brown Matto Lane and Paulo are all taking up big $$ that could be better spent. Or to put I another way, they aren't playing to the value of their contracts

    Very true. We are completely stagnant. I feel like he deserved the chance to show us what he could do this year, but surely the clock is now ticking? 2 inept and highly concerning whippings in a month and no defence to speak of this year
