Great News & Great Work by both Clubs Boards! A very happy group of Newtown supporters/members from the Shire.

Bluebags reatined as Feeder Club for next season 2018

As a Bluebag who lives in the Shire and has mates that have now joined both Clubs, I am so happy with the announcement of the continuing relationship between both our great Clubs. It should never be forgotten that Newtown were the feeder Club to the Sharks when they won that historic GF. All...

Seg out for another 6-8 weeks

I don't think Brailey was brilliant! Are you his Dad or something? haha

    NSW Cup update

All us Bluebag supporters were in the collect queue when Cedrick Scissor Hands dropped the ball cold in the clear! As Don Tweddle posted it is the Max Mannix category of bombed trys! That mistake might just cost us dearly in the back end of the season.

    Sege over Brailey

Seg is a much better option than Brailey, at least he will run from dummy half & take the line on!

    Jayden Brailey

Let's see how Brailey goes playing against men, before we all anoint him as the chosen one! Looks a bit small to me as well.:)

    Newtown Jets Season Launch

I agree Messiah, I think that would have been great! AND it would have given younger Sharks supporters the chance to see Cronulla play at the great old traditional ground!

    Game day - 4 nations

Mose played for Newtown, so maybe they re-employ him and then he would be available for the Sharks!

Chicka Moore gone to the big footy field

Bottle you are correct! Chicka did give it to a young Steve Rogers in that Final at the SCG. That was just a warm up for the Manly GF. As everyone knows that's what it was like those days, let's say the old welcome to First Grade!

Chicka Moore gone to the big footy field

Full respect to you my Cronulla friends for your kind words regarding Chicka. He was an absolute legend in our club and made the Bluebag Team of the Century. He was Australia's leading try scorer on the 67/68 Kangaroo Tour with 10 tries. He also scored 90 first grade tries in his 173 game...

    How 2015 Is Shaping Up

Cronulla playing an NRL trial at Henson Park with the Jets playing a NSW Cup trial curtain raiser, would be a great PR exercise. It is something the Chooks never bothered doing in the 9 year relationship! It would show that the new relationship was going to be different and that the Sharks...

    How 2015 Is Shaping Up

Yeah, Cronulla can call any of the Newtown players up! There are some very good players there. Keep an eye on Kurt Kara, very good player, can play a number of positions hooker/five eight etc.

    Teams vs Eels

cb4 if any of those young blokes were any good Cronulla's GS Ball would have made the quarter finals, which they didn't so I think that answers the question!
