When in Defence:

Dugan- Fullback
Milne- Wing

When in Attack:
Milne- Fulback
Dugan- Wing
I like the attack and defence scenarios.
at the end of the day milne has to be given another opportunity in FG

Furner may have ability as a coach but how on earth does he take a side that put teams away easily last year to a side that can barely score ten points a game?

Personally, I think his game plan stinks and his continued selection of chronic underachievers such as Purtell reeks of nepotism.

I know rookie coaches need a grace period but he inherited a side with immense attacking flair and has thrown Henry's playbook out and purely concentrated on fitness and a no frills game plan and it isn't working.

the thing with furner he dont show confident in his players if they have a bad game the go to qld cup like purtell he was one of best players last year and leading try scorer yet he cant get a regular spot in the side and milne and graham should be cement there spot and look where they are now

I see McCrone has been named in the side at halfback for Souths Logan this week. Don't know what to read in to this as Matt Smith has not been named. I know the named side will be significantly different to the one on game day but it is interesting. Is it an indication that he has been dropped or a confidence thing?? I would also expect a few others to be sent up there for match fitness i.e. Thurling and Tilse. Might of also been beneficial to trial a few things e.g. Dugan and Milne switching or even a new 5/8 in Campo's absence for State of Origin duties. Can't bear to imagine Herbert and McCrone as our halve's combination. Remember some time ago someone commenting that Purtell had a blinder in reserve grade at 5/8. Might be worth a shot as he is definitely not a centre or winger.

They probably are trying to give McCrone more confidence in the halfback spot as he isn't one that needs the break. Probably will see Graham in there and maybe TLL

The goal line defence is very ordinary as well, id like to know the stats on how many times a team scores when there in our 20.
What was that?

You want to play like us?

Totally understandable

Yes I do want us to play like the tigers with attack the main focus as we kicked butt last year playing that style of footy.

Cant see anything laughable if your being sarcastic, ofcourse dont want the woeful defense the tigers has just the attack they have.
The raiders are not going to make the eight playing like they are so they better off chancing the arm.
Monaghan must go to the wing as he is a hog but a strong player as well
