Shame. I liked the kid. Thought he was one of our better backs in a mediocre season.

Could someone tell me why people list the schools players come from but not their junior clubs. The clubs play an important part in the develop of players. The schools only take the cream and then try and take all the credit.

Think Ray Nasso went to Penrith last year, from memory I think Dom Nasso is still with Parra.

Dom Nasso is the kid I meant.

I think he's a good player. Not super flashy, but pretty solid. And he has great strength. He'd be a very handy back-up centre imo.

I think you will you will find that they will use the centres for SG Ball as back up for Toyota Cup. Jennings,(Cabramatta Club), a real good prospect. Tough, speed, defence good and can pass both ways. Also young bloke from all saints, Loko, goes alright too.

When they play Toyota Cup they the majority have played plenty of club football. Before sports high schools the catholic schools used to take all the quality players, but that has now stopped, with many coming from westfields and hills.

Dom's uncle is my hairdresser, so I'll can confirm it for you all...but I'm pretty certain he's gone over to Penrith to join Ray.

He's more of a fullback than centre though, it was always his makeshift position, like first grade, toyota cup had too many fullbacks, not enough centres in their side.

The team for the Toyota cup is looking very slim with the loss of a couple of good players such as Olamnu usini, watching this year at sg ball level he was pretty good player. also the loss of Kyle frazer was captain of our sg Ball side and the loss of nathan gardner and albert kelly . These are big losses. Im hoping the bad season for nyc was because of the old coach but the loss of these players is quite big. All other teams have bought well for next season for the nyc such as the crunulla and the bulldogs. Why do we keep shooting ourselves in the foot by loosing all these players and we keep players such rory brien and rulon nutira who are just not cutting it in the nyc ??? Lets Hope Matty cameron can change the fortunes of the nyc team next year...

Following in the footsteps of Joel Reddy, Patrick O'Hanlon and Rory Brien, SG Ball recruits Josh Batalibasi, Dean Blackman and Zacc Douglas have made the AIS Touring Squad for 2009.
