Just read that the Raiders are in talks with Gouldburn regarding a State Cup franchise in 2010.
Manly are also predicted to field a team in 2010 with the NSWRL pressuring both the Raiders and Sea Eagles to enter feeder arrangements with NSW clubs and discontinue their QLD Cup associations. Mounties, who also run a club on the northern beaches, have been mentioned as a potential feeder.

QLD cup sides will be fuming at this however, something needs to be done about this esp. as those clubs in the QLD competition will miss out on growing rugby league in their regions.

NSW Cup Team of the Year selection table
NSWRL MEDIA
5/09/2010 8:04:31 PM

Here is your chance to have your say on who should be in the NSWRL.com.au NSW Cup team of the year for 2010.

Simply post who you think should be selected and the panel of experts will consider them when they announce the team of the year this week on NSWRL.com.au!

WOW! What a year of NSW Cup we have enjoyed in season 2010!

We had to wait till the final regular season match to find out who will face who in the 2010 NSW Cup Final Series with the Bulldogs securing top spot in their 66-12 win over the Melbourne Storm today.

Like the Bundaberg Red Cup, the job isn't much easier here!

Is Shellharbour's Michael Lett a walk up start in the race for the number one jersey or would you pick from left field and throw in a Rhys Pritchard or even a Luke Towers?

Likely to be the most hotly contested spot is the number seven. The Bulldogs' Josh Reynolds bagged 38 points today in Melbourne which could push him over the line but does the early season form of Nathan Waters give him a show.

Does Pita Godinet from the Vulcans nudge these two out for his prolific try scoring average this year?

What about the hookers? Does Wenty's Anthony Mitchell have the position sewn up or does Ryan Carr, Keith Peters, Rory Kostjasyn or Lancen Juodo get your vote?

What about the plethora of good back-rowers running around this season!

Who gets the chocolates for you? Wenty's Lee Te Maari? Manly bound Bulldog Daniel Harrison or Newtown's Aidan Guerra?

You can even post, in the comment section, your complete team 1-17 and Coach.
i dont get too see too much nsw cup her in queensland but from the highlights reel michael lett and kevin naqaima are shoe ins. man i cant belive how unlucky lett is hes a gun player but has never been given the chance to shine in frirst grade
