I recall there being rumours a few years ago that Folau would be giving up first grade for a year for his mission. That was when he was still at Melbourne.

Just saw in the NRL signings thread that Casey McGuire may be coming back here from the English Super League? Anyone hear anything about that?

Hes got a good footy brain, he was always a bit too slow in his reactions though, still I'd be happy to see him back at the club.

There was a reason they let him go in the first place and he didnt get another NRL contract. Let him go.

Casey was a great servant to the club and a very handy player to have in the 17. However we already have a few players who can fit into utilities roles and I just don't see a place for him anymore. Perhaps he can dual register with a QLD cup side and only be called up during massive injury tolls.
