SW Warriros Founddation Day

The SW Warriors are holding a foundation day @ the Bunbury Runners Club this Saturday for their first home game of the season against the Joondalup Giants. There will a jumping castle & stalls, team photos in their new playing sttrip, entertainment, under 16's, womens tag culminating with the senior mens game kicking off @ 3:15pm. Should be a great day weather permitting.

The SW Warriors foundation day was a total success with a good crowd on hand to watch a thrilling but somewhat scrappy game against the Joondalup Giants. The Warriors took advantage of a sin binned player to run in two tries. Joondalup hit back soon after with a converted try of their own. But a great individual effort the Warriors young half back sealed the victory with a try under the posts. Final score 14-6.
The day started out with under 16's Warriors going down 44-12. A lot of these boys have never played before but are really enjoying themselves.
The women's tag was a highly entertaining game with a lot of skills on offer. Unfortunately, the Warriors need to play to whistle as a couple of opportunities went begging. Final 34-0 to Joondalup.
The SW Warriors would really like to thank Joondalup for being part of this historic occassion & creating a memorable spectacle for all those in attendance.
