For the opening of the season, the Committee LER has decided to propose Extragames in Lezignan

Saturday September 25th 2010:
14h: Avignon-Villeneuve
16h: Limoux, Pia

Sunday September 26th 2010:
12.30: St-Esteve-XIII Catalan-Carpentras.
14.30: St-Gaudens, Toulouse, Montpellier
16:30 Lezignan Carcassonne

On the calendar, please note that the derby Vaucluse between Avignon and Carpentras be held at the 4th day, October 17

Lezignan, the champion will travel to newly-promoted Montpellier Oct. 3 on day2

I read something about this on the FFR13 site but couldn't understand it.

Is it similar to the SL's Magic Weekend?

Exact, it's a French Magic weekend.

For 1st regular season Round, all the games are on Stade du Moulin in Lezignan September 25th and 26th.

For Last regular season Round, all the games are in Avignon

I think it's a good idea for attract media interest.

Sounds good, at least the people running the game are looking at different things.

- Teams "Elite" will begin the season on 25 and 26 September by Extra Games Tournament to be held in Lézignan. This tournament will be an opportunity to present the teams with recruits, frames and sports leaders to the media (newspapers, radio and television).
- The qualification phase will end with another Extra Tournament Games to be held in Avignon.
- 3rd place match will be played on neutral ground.
- The Championship Final is held in Montpellier

There will be two games broadcast by Orange Sport Event on Magic Week end Lezignan;

“Orange Sport Event” is a free tv on Web.
