Roosters v Warriors at the SFS in the 2000s
In 2000, 2002 and 2004 saw the Roosters beat us by a combined total of 138-10, but some of the other matches between the two sides at the SFS in the 2000s have been very much memorable, with the added delight of celebrating a win (or draw).

2001 - Warriors 42-30. Another match full of ebbs and flows, Daniel Anderson's influence really started to show through

2003 - Warriors 26-24. Classic Warriors at their counter-punching best. Ultimately denied the Roosters the minor premiership. Faumuina, playing at halfback, kicks through, Meli scores, Webb takes an eternity to convert. Winning without Stacey against a top side in Australia was the first sign that we had a chance to win in 2003.

2005 - Warriors 24-22. Down 22-8 at one stage, the Warriors reel off three late tries to win. Betham and Tupou (I think) had a big fight too

2007 - Draw 31-31. The best of the lot. Roosters could feel bad to not have won from 16-0 up early, and then 31-30 up with a minute left; Warriors would have felt bad not to win from 30-18 up with 12 to play. Draw was the fair result. Warriors were robbed by a no-call from Shayne Hayne.

2009 - Warriors 30-24. Good exciting game of footy not littered with mistakes. Whilst it was 13th v 16th, on the whole, it was a quality game of football. Just lacked some defense from both sides.

(The Warriors won 22-12 in 2006, but we best not remember that one. That was a low-quality game.)

...or he could've been smiling at Stacey Jones' effort, something funny another official or player said, anything... Yeah, it's all a Roosters conspiracy

f**king depressing. The amount of games we have thrown away this year. We are a team that has the talent to win but has completely forgotten how.

That No 6 for the Roosters deadset looked like he missed McKinnon on purpose! He stepped out of McKinnon's way, then McKinnon ran straight through, very poor effort!
