Because he is a weak merkin who will only talk it up when he has numbers, and he'll never follow through with the threats, never has.

The giveaway for the strips is that the Refs release stated the four officials are wearing white. That means Saints can't wear white, therefore it's the Red strip. The Broncos home strip clashes with the Saints' red strip, and the Broncos away strip clashes with the white of the refs. Therefore the Broncs' only option is their mainly yellow heritage jersey.

Could be wrong though...

They quite obviously clash, unless you're colour blind in which case they're the same colour anyway.

Don't the Drags always wear red in Wollongong now?

Anyway I'll be interested to see how much they try and get under Hodges' skin. I just hope the merkin shows up to play rugby league.

Who gives a sh*t about the Titans & Bulldogs.

Facts are, this change would've been instigated by you guys wanting to wear the red jersey in Wollongong as has happened 3/5 times so far this year.

The refs dont choose their jersey first, obviously Dragons chose red,and Broncos chose heritage,so the refs saw best fit to wear the white jersey.

In regards to '07,obviously the Knights thought the Red didn't clash as badly as Blue does with Maroon.

Why couldn't the refs just wear their normal colours (pink), the dragons their normal colours (white) and Broncos wear their normal colours (maroon/yellow).

No clashing there..
