There's been quite enough outrage in these forums of late, I trust you will not contribute to it any further.

    That essential is brutal.

Still there is time to recover but they must be nearing the point everyone just assumes they will lose the next election which is hard to come back from.

I am really in touch with the general population - but I don't see any huge hatred for the liberals or any huge support for labor out there at the moment

I don't think there is either which means turnbull could turn it around.

I think the poll reflects that people think the liberals are just shit right now. Like no real faith in them rather than a dislike.

    Just my opinion obviously

I don't think turnbull is an effective campaigner. I really don't think he wants to go in behind by 8 points.

I don't think it's the ALP govt in NSW during Its last days

As you say I don't sense people hate the funky bunch like they did these guys or CanDo in Qld

Perhaps it's that Turnbull's a bit meh, he doesn't ruffle too many feathers, he's just a bit meh. He sure seems to rustle the jimmies of the hard right, but what are they gonna do? Vote Green?

And we see that here, dos claims mal is shit and doesn't hold his or the parties values... But he's going to vote Libs anyhow... So why would Turnbull care that much about that part of the party faithful?

The term "rusted on" isn't used to describe the swing voter, that's for sure.

ON primary with a Labor preference would certainly be in the mix.

Possibly. But then they strengthen ON, I'm not sure that's what they'd want as an outcome.
