The Vault was fantastic. Talk about an effort typing all of that in. The maintainer had not only results (and crowds!) but teams, try scorers etc. Bravo. :D

Here's a link to it on the Internet Archive: http://web.archive.org/web/20050205135002/http://users.hunterlink.net.au/~maajjs/index.htm

Excellent been wanting look at that again for a long time.
It was good to see big crowds from the 1920's to early 70's for the GB Tourists games against the likes of NSW and a Newcastle rep team etc.

lol given are usually low crowds for internationals people in glass houses springs to mind! Lets see the Kangaroos play an equivalent game, say Oz v Fiji for a qualifying game and see how many turn up.

Also, a handful of the big guns out of the Kangaroos side like the Socceroos had against Thailand and see how they do. It was really a nothing game on Friday, really only to give the players a run before the WC qualifier against Oman. Most of the attention of the soccer media in Australia was directed towards the start of the A-League and more specifically Sydney vs Melbourne (Emerton vs Kewell).
