Smart play by Ennis. If the defence is going to stand a metre offside on the goal line might as well put it behind them.

Win or lose it's just good to see a decent contest again.

We had to score with all that ball, great defence by the Rednecks to keep us out for so long. Bird has mad soem mistakes but f**k he's been awesome.

Where was the great untouchable Slater there? Does that merkin get a free pass on "positioning"?

Yes Ennis made a good kick (1 in 30 chance) and it just happened the 30th was today. His luck will run out. Gidley is completely outplaying him.

Can't help feeling QLD will still win. They know how to take it up an extra level and NSW will probably try to sit on their lead now.

Why did Ennis start from the bench? If he didn't, he's been bloody quiet for the first 70.

So one good thing nullifies the 1000 sh*t things he's done?

ok...

Notice how he struggled at the start of the game when NSW had no ball and weren't going forward. In his second stint he has been good. Set up the bird try, had a hand in Watmoughs held up and had a hand in putting Gidley through a gap. It comes down to how well the forwards are laying a platform and in the second half they've finally decided to step up.
