I'll back Saints for the win, but it will depend on how they come out of their bye, considering they were the last team to actually get a f**king bye and some teams had already had two by the time they got one (great draw NRL....), they'll either be fresh and ready to run riot, or maybe needing to ease back into it, in any case despite not getting a break for 13 weeks, they now get 2 breaks in the space of about a month.
What.
The.
f**k.

f**k, never happy are we?
Dragons get the best draw out of the league and you're still complaining.

I expected the sharks to throw the ball around against us last time we played, but they went into their shell. This time round i think they will be far more dangerous with a bit of confidence and basically nothing to lose. Should be a great game

Agree with this although we should still win this comfortably.

That has nothing to do with the draw. It's channel 9 that make those decisions. They pick games they belive will rate the highest.

You've played 9 Friday night games from memory.
That gives you the longer turn around and more exposure ect...
Agree?

Not really. If you play on the same day regularly then the turnaround time is the same. The Sharks have had 8 Saturday games and 2 byes in the same period, so I don't see any advantage. In fact, the Drgons were the only team to play 13 games straight, on top of the rep commitments for some of the team. They also drew many of the Top 8 contenders in the early weeks, with the Sharks, Warriors and Cowboys being the only sides they played not rated as a chance. Throw in Melbourne in Round 4 when they still had something to play for.

Sure you get more exposure on Friday nights, but that is a product of the size of the fanbase, the ratings the team gets and the position on the table. In fact, most Dragon supporters hate the Friday nights as it is harder to get to the games after work, particularly at the start of the year when they were played in Wollongong.

That has nothing to do with the draw. We have one of the biggest fanbases and we're top of the table. If your club had a more marketable team, then you too would occupy the friday night slot. Unfortunately the sharks are a borefest every time they play so channel 9 justifiably avoids them like the plague.

As others have pointed out, that has nothing to do with the draw per se. It's the push and shove between 9 and Fox Sports. Mind you, what we've had for one year the Broncos have had for 20. Just the way it is, unfortunately. The teams with the big fan bases which draw the big TV audiences and which are performing well get the good TV slots. Mind you, the one time we had a 5-day turnaround, we slaughtered the Eels 30-blot, with players backing up from Origin 1.

But really, if you're looking at game timeslots to justify your teams crap performances, you're really clutching at straws. And you should be happy to get us on Sunday. We've won all our Friday night games, with our losses coming on Friday arvo (Melbourne), Saturday night (Manly), and Sunday arvo (Canberra).

Apparently Saints are resting all but 1-2 of their Origin players for tomorrow's match.
It's sounding like, Boyd, Weyman & Creagh are definitely being rested. Cooper is obviously out injured anyway.
Not sure about Morris, Costigan or Beau.
