Why would the Sharks go for a penalty goal? Deadset. Matthew Reick must be itching to get back out there for his old club and show them how it's done...

It's a good thing the Sharks took that goal while it was on offer. Maybe a field goal next?

Geez. Given how paranoid the NRL is about players being lifted in tackles, that's a bizarre rule

Without the rule in place, all an attacking player would have to do is catch the ball in the air in goal and the defender wouldn't be able to do anything to stop him scoring.

Sure

Does it only apply in the action of scoring a try? Or only in-goal? Or anywhere on the park?
