What a mouth-watering match-up.

The Knights
Despite being the better team in their recent match against the Cowboys, the Knights struggled to come away with the two points. An immense performance from their intimidating forward pack laid the platform for Kurt Godle... sorry, Gidley, to put in a heroic captain's performance.

They will take a vast amount of confidence from the Cowboy's match to this do-or-die clash against the Manly Sea Eagles. It won't be long now before you see the Knights hit the top gear.

The Sea Eagles
Manly recently scraped home against the Tigers with what can only be described as a very mixed performance. Coincidentally, former Knights' players Chris Bailey and Josh Perry both had solid games and were instrumental in their victory.

However make no mistake, the Knights are hungry for Manly's top 8 spot and now is not the time for complacency. They will need to take their game to the next level if they are to be a genuine threat in the competition.

Prediction: I am going with the home ground advantage here and am going to tip the Knights in a thriller.

hahaha

Serious analysis - Manly's pack to tear our terrible prop rotation to pieces. We will spend most of the game down the wrong end of the field, and probably show some steel in defence, but will lose by somewhere between 2 and 4 tries. Lets say 30-12.

the Knights will need a lot more than Cecchin on their side to win. i wouldn't even worry about it. just look at our forward pack, aside from Taia and Hilder you wouldn't feed them.

Upsetting Manly would be great, but it's a long shot.

If we lose by less than 18 I'll consider it a good result.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Knights are a game away from there season being over so they will throw everything they have at us.

Glad it's not Old Boys night? Has Newie ever lost one of them?

Will be tough though, their recent form against us at Marathon is pretty good.

Im reading so many articles this week about how Manly have 'turned it around'. Im gonna need way more evidence than a win against the hapless Sharks and the tigers who were due for a loss anyway.

Tipping Kite to make 180+ metres.
Perry 30 metres, give or take 5.

MoM - Kieran Foran.
