The refereeing has been atrocious. That was a ridiculous no try. Broncos were rewarded for a bad read.

Would never of come about if the refs remembered you aren't allowed to take a player off his feet and drag them back.

Don't fall into the trap of believing everything that that muppet Gould tells you. The decision was remarkably obvious given the way the rules are. There was no depth between the lead decoy and the runner who received it behind him. It's a clear case of obstruction the way the rules are written and interpreted.

His feet were pretty much dragging on the ground. The other broncos players should have helped more. And the tackle wasn't completed so there was nothing wrong with it. Correct call.

It's pitiful. It's agenda laiden crap about a bloke who refuses to acknowledge the rules of the game.

Agreed. The moment a defender can't see the ball runner because he is behind his running behind a decoy runner, the attack gains unfair advantage

They change the obstruction rule every year because the refs can't use discretion effectively to adjudicate if there has or has not been an obstruction. For almost all of the last 30 years that would have been given a try.

Doesn't matter as soon as his feet in the air the tackle is made.

Wrong. Completely and utterly wrong. It's been in place since at least 2007 when Manly were denied in Auckland for the same thing.

Look the way the rules are written I agree, but in all honesty the way the law has been interpreted the last few years, what's written in the rule book doesn't necessarily matter.

The better team is in-front at half time, but aside from just a few lapses in defence I must say I'm fairly happy with the boys.

That last try to Morris was Lockyer's fault not Copleys and Beales.

Darius Boyd simply got on the outside of Lockyer ran around him to make the break.

Gould blames Beale and Copley for staying on their man though and says it's their defensive troubles. They marked up and they showed confidence in Lockyer to make a tackle which he didn't.

Must not criticise the golden child and the inspirational leader of the free world though.
