Congrats Eels, too much referee assistance for the Cowboys to handle. Both first half Eels tries came from incorrect decisions, with Tahu's blatant knock on in the act of stripping the ball, and then that ridiculous penalty the Eels got after dropping the ball just before their second try.

Two Queensland teams rorted tonight by incompetent referees favouring Sydney teams.

The Eels and Dogs were the better teams last night. The better teams won. I can live with that.

Twizzle, you have confused the facepalm with the double facepalm. They are in fact two seperate entities and are reserved for varying degrees of stupidity.

The hierachy from bottom to top is as such; Facepalm -> Double Facepalm -> Headdesk :D

Though the use of the Double Facepalm was certainly warranted.

Highly entertaining game, given the conditions. Parra on the rebound and the Cowboys showed that they might not be dead yet.

This was one of those games that had calls go both ways and a good flow of the game was continued without interruptions of pointless penalties [see last week - eels vs souths].

So shut the f**k up, nobhead

Thanks.

Skeepe yours views on the refs are well known, however this persistence that Parramatta are somehow favoured by the refs on every win, you really need to seek professional help for your problems.

Tahu plainly and blatantly knocked on when he stripped the ball. Parramatta scored a try from the resulting set.

Parramatta knock on after being smashed by a great tackle, they receive a mystery penalty and score from the resulting set.

2 tries that they should not have scored were it not for glaring errors from the referees. What was the final margin again?

1. Tahu "knock on", it was a clean strip and no ball/hand seperation so how the hell is a knock on.

2.North Qld Players were offside and called as such by the Ref, ref played advantage there was none hence the penalty.

I would be more concerned about the Faiders, butI am sure you believe that is just another refereeing conspiracy.
