Pretty intense rivalry this is.. no posts..

Anyhow, I don't think there has ever been a bad game between this 2 clubs, so it should be a good one. If either team wants to get anywhere this season they will probably want to start kicking into gear about now.

Brisbane by 4.

I still can't forget that night Locky sunk the drop goal, Gold Coast looked certain to win that one IMO and somehow he pulled it out of the bag...

Morris and Nightingale both named, Gaz still on the extended bench. Interesting

TBH, that surprises me Timmah.

Out of curiosity, who are they playing for? Brisbane or GC?

Massive match - Titans need a win to steady a rocky ship - their recent record is not flash at all.

But for the first time in a long while, Brisbane should be better in the post-Origin rounds of games - they only had Lockyer/Thaiday/AFoLau and missed them badly in their last start. I'm actually liking the Broncos here.

We really need to win this game to get back on track. I think at home and with Prince back we can do it. Birdy will have a big game and so too Campbell and Rogers. Titans by 10.

This is one game I'm inclined to say toss a coin. Never really sure what Titans side will run out and the Broncos were on a roll but lost before the bye if memory serves and that could dent their confidence.

I'll decide this at 4:59pm Friday.

LATE MAIL

Titans forward Anthony Laffranchi seems to have overcome a calf complaint and should start against Brisbane tonight, with Steve Michaels the man likely to drop off the Titans bench. The Broncos will be unchanged from the side named Tuesday. In an aside, six Titans players will wear red boots tonight to raise awareness for Youngcare, a charity set up to look after youngsters who require 24-hour disability care. Scott Prince, Mat Rogers, Preston Campbell, Greg Bird, Jake Friend and Brad Meyers will be wearing the boots, with three pairs to be auctioned on the Titans website next week.
