As noted, Dean Young was ruled out.

Surprised Gasnier didn't get a run though.

Don't care who wins in this meaningless game. Just hope no one is injured.

Can't agree with you more. Pointless game that may cost a team one of it's important player through injury. No interest in who wins or loses.

Other than taking the game to country areas, I really think this game is a waste of time and places a high risk of injury on players for no reason.

Expecting Cuthbo to explode off the bench and dismantle the Country defence, earning Kurt Gidley's bench NSW spot and the captaincy

    Country
OUT: Kade Snowden (Sharks), Beau Scott (Dragons) - Australian selection
IN: Dan Hunt (Dragons), Matt Prior (Dragons)

Chris Heighington moves into lock for Glenn Stewart, who moves to the second row for the missing Beau Scott. Prior comes onto the bench.

Dan Hunt becomes a direct replacement for Kade Snowden.

That country backline and halves looks awesome. Bring in Mark Gasnier for Joel Thompson and that's probably the strongest NSW 1-7 you could pick.
