Thank God it is over.
Was like watching boys against men.

Considering they went the length twice, I'm surprised how close metres gained is.

Storm just way too good tonight. Forwards more than met ours and when Smith came on it was basically game over.

Couple of our players were off, Wallace & Hoffman just couldn't seem to throw the right pass while Glenn & Reed were both very ordinary down the fringe.

Lowrie was sensational.

Did you guys see the end of the telecast? Raaaaaay gave the result of the next game and then Nein showed some dude setting the video and audio up, hahhaa. God I hope Nein lose the TV rights.

And people said this should have been the live game in NSW...sometimes an even game on paper isn't an even game in real life.

Thank you Nostradamus, great call after the fact..... Even so with the result im sure the vast majority of people would much rather watch two sides that have a genuine chance of winning the comp as opposed to a team that might scrape into the 8 and just make up the numbers and the other that will finish in the bottom few. I'm sure that was riveting viewing.....

Just got back from the game...in summary:

Scrappy game with the conditions having an impact and also the lack of cohesion in each team due to SOO.

Firstly; the Broncos are a bloody good side and have a well balanced team - no Thaiday, Hodges or Civo made it difficult for them but with their normal side they are going to be right in it come finals time.

Parker, Hannant, Glenn and Te'o were busy tonight and bring aggresion to the side. Wallace looked a little rusty but has a good kicking game..not sure if he is the answer to NSW in SOO though as he seems a little hesitant when running the ball and Storm defended him quite easily.

A couple of dropped balls by the Broncos when on attack early in the game could have made this game a lot different but then Storm dropped a few as well.

Storm looked composed tonight. Lowrie, Hinchcliffe and Lowe were my picks in the forwards although Lowe did bring a bit of niggle that led to penalties. Slater became mor pominent as the game progressed and had a great second half. Cam Smith's leadership was lacking in the first half but he was the difference when he came on and the game was even to this point.

Both of these sides will have taken something away from this game...although the scoreline was impressive for the Storm, the Broncos now know that they can match it come finals time pending further injuries.

it wasn't even an even game on paper, who are you kidding?
It was being talked up by everyone as an epic battle between 1st and 2nd, people ignoring the fact that this year 1st is a clear step above everyone else, including 2nd.
