Foran > bench utility
Johnson > halfback

Surely after a shit 4 nations campaign and a shit one-off test from Foran, and Johnson's great debut in the Anzac test, selectors will realise this needs to happen.

Lol. I also suggested this, before the match, in the "Kiwi squad named" thread and it was written off. Foran was shit house and has never stood up for NZ.

Same. I have never rated Foran in the halves, for any of his Kiwi's matches. He is great for Manly because of the structure around him - it's a different story in the Kiwi team. Johnson and Benji worked well together, and Johnson is clearly the more talented natural halfback.

Tamou is a Kiwi.

Beale is an Aussie- well, at least he shouldn't be playing for the Kiwis, having represented the Junior Kangaroos.

Beale played well the other night, but NZ lost out on that exchange, didn't they?

Beale played well? He was close to the worst on the park.

Overall it was a very good test match. Much better than what RU tossed up and that was a draw!

The free to air TV ratings suggest that RL is a much more appealing product to watch than RU. The RL TV ratings almost doubled the RU test TV ratings in similar timeslots.

No wonder Channel 9 has dropped off RU test coverage very quickly and given the poison chalice to channel 10.
