> Clubs have been officially notified of the pools for the 2004 Telstra Premiership.

> The pools are based on the finishing position of each team after the completion of 26 rounds of this year's competition.

> The draw will be structured so that all teams play each other once (ie 14 matches) and then meet all other teams except those in their own pool a second time.
