Learoyd lars is better on the fringes especially in origin. Jason Ryles returning to the NRL could be a blessing if his form warrants. Brett White is improving I would give him a run or probably Mick Weyman off the bench but only if his 2010 form matches his 2009 form. Maybe go for experience like the QLDers and get Luke Bailey & Ryles back together.

I also like Luke Lewis coming off the bench as another utility or forward, his 4 nations form has been good.

8. Luke Bailey
9. Robbie Farah/Mick Ennis
10. Jason Ryles
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. Ben Creagh
13. Anthony Watmough

14. Kurt Gidley
15. Brett White
16. Tom Learoyd Lars
17. Luke Lewis

9. Ennis
10. White
11. Creagh
12. Lewis
13. Watmough

14. Farah
15. Gallen
16. Leyroyd-Lars
17. Weyman.

Im not too happy with the selection of forwards NSW has at the moment, too many errors and silly penalties in alot of their games, plus alot of inexperience. But Id like the bench to have as much impact as possible and I can see Farah and Ennis have a Cameron Smith and Shaun Berrigan type rotation.

Yeah i was really considering Jason Ryles and Mick Ennis. White and Gidley are very good players, but i think that Keith Galloway has a bit of an edge over White in strength, speed, and fitness. And, Ben Creagh is a specialist left side player, but he might be equally as good on the right.

8. Brett White
9. Michael Ennis (assuming Kimmorley is the #7, if not then Robbie Farah)
10. Jason Ryles
11. Paul Gallen
12. Ben Creagh
13. Anthony Watmough

14. Luke Lewis
15. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs
16. Michael Weyman
17. Keith Galloway

If Jason Ryles isn't looking too good, I would replace him with Luke Bailey.

I dont want Noddy, he has failed at NSW level before and I know we won the game he played but nothing was at stake. Either way Farah should by no means be cemented, his form in the 4 nations has been average and was average in SOO too. Ennis is very much a chance imo if his form warrants.

Also if no Hindmarsh I would replace him with Gallen and he would go straight into the side ahead of Waterhouse or Hoffman

Only one has Gallen starting, he is right the rest are wrong.

as a qld supporter, i'm not struck with any fear about the 2010 series by form in the four nations for the NSW contingent, or with club form for any of your best players. looking like 5 series straight coming up!

even if your selectors get it right for a change, your players cannot cope with civinoceva, thurston, inglis, lockyer, hodges, c.smith, and any other 11 players we add to them.

14. Lewis
15. Gallen
16. Learoyd-Lahrs

Those would be the second-rowers picked. Lewis would be a utility backrow/centre/halves option. Laffranchi, Houston, Hoffman and Creagh would be on the fringes of selection I believe - picking someone like Hindmarsh or Ryan would be one big step backwards.

The front-row selection is the big question. Main contenders are Justin Poore, Michael Weyman, Keith Galloway, Luke Douglas, Brett White and Josh Perry.A bolter like Kade Snowden or Michael Henderson would be nice too. No more Joel Clinton, Ben Cross, Brent Kite, Luke Bailey or Jason Ryles - again, steps in the wrong direction.

Well since Hindmarsh is retiring, i would change my team to this?

8. Keath Galloway
9. Robbie Farrah
10. Tom Leroyd-Lahrs
11. Ben Creagh
12. Luke Lewis
13. Anthony Watmough

14. Fileti Mateo
14. Alan Tongue
15. Michael Weyman
16. Justin Poore

Note: i would want to start Tom Leroyd Lahrs at prop because:
1) he is the strongest player in the team and i believe the first hit up is very important, as it puts you on the front foot or not
2) i think that in the back row, he would struggle with defence, because of the foot work of the likes of Hodges, Slater and co.

if Jason Ryles is playing well i would probably choose him at the expence of Weyman

if NoKimmorley is the half i would choose Ennis instead of Farrah

there is a question mark over Lewis being a starter

Paul Gallen would definately be considered, if the centres are not doing to well i would probably put Mateo there, regulate Lewis to the bench and start Gallen at 12.
