We have the only Saturday game in R9. So I can't see why they wouldn't show the U20s.

Correct, Round 9 Toyota Cup will be live on FOX.

Round 6 won't be, as the Roosters v Broncos game is 7:30pm. The earliest game on Saturday always has Toyota Cup preceeding it.

    WTF?

Channel 9 said they are showing round 8 Friday night football at 8:30pm not 7:30pm. Is kick off being put back or has channel nine arse raped again?

It will be a delayed coverage.

THe Rabbits V Sharks game won't start on TV until 11ish. Absolute RUBBISH.

Souths v Cronulla being the second game is probably the smartest decision made.

    Hey Timmah

    Thanks for the updates.

Any chance of updating the scores in the following:

    Friday 15 April
    Eels 14 lost to Bulldogs @ ANZ Stadium, 7:30pm CH9 - 30,687
    (Dogs scored 34)

    Monday 25 April (ANZAC Day)
Roosters vs. Dragons @ Sydney Football Stadium, 4:00pm FOX Sports - 34,976
Storm vs. Warriors @ AAMI Park, 7:00pm FOX Sports - 22,694

    (Chooks 10 / Dragons 24 and Storm 14 / Warriors 18)

Its a handy page to use for a memory jogger for tipping and would help to fill in the couple of blanks that have been missed.

    Thanks
    Ugly

TIGERS CHANGE VENUE FOR DRAGONS CLASH

Wests Tigers wish to advise that the Round 22 clash v Dragons will now be played at the Sydney Football Stadium.

The match was originally scheduled for the Sydney Cricket Ground to coincide with the 50 year anniversary of the 1961 Grand Final played between Wests and St George at the iconic venue.

However due to the match now being scheduled on Friday night 5 August, Chief Executive Stephen Humphreys admitted that the Club had to revise its match day plans.

“We were hopeful of hosting this match on a Sunday afternoon so we could provide a great day of entertainment for our supporters. However, Friday night games impose really tight timeframes for supporters to get to the game and therefore from a fan's perspective, a Friday night game becomes less about the pre match entertainment and all about the game itself.

“As a result of this, we've needed to downscale the pre match entertainment plans which were so integral to the original decision to host the match at the SCG. With all of that in mind, we have now transferred the match to the SFS which is such a great venue to watch Rugby League at.”

Humphreys also said that the Club remained committed to paying homage to the great rivalry between Wests and St George experienced in the early sixties.

“We will be hosting a lot of past players from that golden era at the match and our NRL team will proudly wear the Wests heritage jersey on the night.

“We will do everything we can to secure a Sunday afternoon slot for the corresponding fixture over the next couple of years to enable us to celebrate this particular phase of the Club's history on a more comprehensive scale than we are able to deliver on this occasion.”
