How about Penrith. Best side by far and only 1 Blue.

I agree! Dallin Watene-Zalezniak (who will by the way will star in U/18 NSW team) is a better player than Gutherson IMO.

Anyhow what about Matty Lodge for Melbourne and Brenko Lee for Canberra. Both still eligible to still play SG Ball and now find themselves in their respective State's 20's. Great effort!

Just goes to show that playing in the right team makes a difference. For example, Lee who was in the ACT Schoolboys team last year didn't get a great showing because hardly got any quality ball in his centre position, and was not subsequently chosen for Australian schoolboys. Now in a quality club team and carving it up! Exactly like last year when he made the the U/18's a year young.

Like that old adage goes; "How can one soar like and eagle when one is surrounded by turkeys!"

You have to feel for the Doggies' John Sila! He was all but guaranteed an U/20's spot until his injury! As stated before he has trained so hard to get where he is presently.

Anyway Sila is probably a 'what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger' type of person and should bounce back. Cream will always rise to the top and hopefully if there is a Junior Kangaroos team selected later this year he will be in the running for that!

The touchie is on crack on that one side... called a late tackle which wasn't and then a shoulder charge that wasn't.. which ended up leading to a NSW try
