[Misanthrope]

Agitated with what an utter dog's abortion the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble was, I got inspired to do some fantasy booking. Much like the Random Rumble concept, I'm happy to hear your thoughts and votes on the outcome - although I'm not going to be completely ruled by voting lest we have Zack Ryder facing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania

Finkel: Ladies and gentlemen it is now time for the Royal Rumble match! In just a few moments, the competitors who drew numbers 1 and 2 will make their way down to the ring. Every ninety seconds another competitor will enter the ring until all 40 competitors have entered. The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope so that both feet touch the ground. The winner will go on to Wrestlemania to fight for the WWE Undisputed Title!

Cole: We're just a few moments away from seeing which unlucky superstar drew #1 for this year's Royal Rumble.

Cole: It's the A-Lister!

JBL: And there's that idiot, Mizdow with him too.

The Miz and his stuntman, Mizdow make their way to the ring. Miz hands his sunglasses over to Mizdow and enters the ring, where he basks in the booing of the crowd.

Cole: The Miz hasn't been lucky with his draw tonight. Only two people have ever won from the #1 position.

JBL: The Miz is a former Wrestlemania main eventer, Cole! Show some damn respect!

Lawler: And who will be the #2 entrant?

Cole: It's The Miz's former tag team partner, John Morrison!

Lawler: The Shaman of Sexy is back! I love this guy!

JBL: Where'd this clown crawl back from?

John Morrison hits the ring at speed, sliding to his feet and staring off with his former tag team partner as the bell rings.

The Miz scowls but offers his hand to Morrison, who foolishly accepts it and eats a kick to the gut. The Miz hooks him up for a vertical suplex, but Morrison floats over and lands on his feet. The Miz spins around, catches Morrison's attempted kick, and then eats an enzuguri for his trouble.

The Miz rolls under the bottom rope and to the outside where he is consoled by Damien Mizdow. The crowd boos, but their cries turn to cheers as they see Morrison measuring the situation up.

JBL: Is this idiot going to Mil Mascaras it and go over the top rope?

He isn't! Morrison gets up a head of steam and goes through the second rope with a diving tackle. Mizdow, seeing the threat, throws himself in the way dramatically; allowing The Miz to pounce on the momentarily winded Morrison with boots and punches.

Miz whips Morrison towards the steps, but Morrison nimbly leaps up on top of them and scrambles up onto the apron. The Miz charges across to try and sweep Morrison's legs, but the parkour expert leaps over Miz's trailing arm and kicks him inn the back of the head!

Morrison re-enters the ring and beckons for The Miz to join him, but we're at the countdown for the #3 entrant already!

Cole: It's Daniel Bryan! The former Undisputed Champion has drawn #3 and he's got a real mountain to climb if he wants to regain what was once his!

JBL: 2015 is the Year of the Goat, Cole! Can Daniel Bryan go the distance and set up a dream date with Brock Lesnar underneath the lights so bright?

Daniel Bryan comes down the ramp at a run and, in a show of complete disregard for his own safety, catches both Mizdow and The Miz with a running double foot dropkick that puts them all flat on their backs.

Kipping up to his feet, the bearded one grabs The Miz and tosses him into the ring. John Morrison, who has smartly been collecting his breath in the far corner, watches on as Daniel Bryan enters the ring and begins to light Miz's chest up with those hard kicks of his.

JBL: This is unfair! Why are they all gangin' up on the Miz?

Cole: It's every man for himself, JBL. Morrison is just biding his time.

John Morrison doesn't wait too long, and he rushes over to help when he sees Daniel Bryan trying to lift The Miz up over the top rope.

Sensing his employer is in trouble, Mizdow leaps up onto the apron to reason with the two men.

Lawler: What's this clown doing?

JBL: He's doing what any good employee would do in his position. He's doing what's best for business.

Mizdow's interruption doesn't last long, as Daniel Bryan punches him in the chops and then drags him over the top rope and into the ring.

The distraction buys The Miz a reprieve, and he starts to unload on Morrison with some rights of his own.

Cole: Things are about to get weird! It's Luke Harper!

Lawler: This guy creeps me out!

The big man hits the ring and finds himself confronted by Daniel Bryan who he turns inside out with an absolutely brutal lariat. Mizdow, who had sought refuge against the ropes, finds himself tumbled back to the floor by a dropkick.

Meanwhile, The Miz finally finishes what he started by suplexing John Morrison gut first onto the ropes and applying a headlock.

His victory is short lived, as Harper clubs him across the back with those meaty forearms of his. Miz turns around and gets whipped, allowing Morrison to scramble back into the ring.

Miz returns to a big back body drop and a few elbow drops from Harper, while Daniel Bryan comes to his feet only to eat a missile dropkick from the ever agile Morrison.

The four men pair off while Mizdow plays cheerleader from the side, and now it's time for entrant #5.

Cole: Business is about to pick up!

JBL: One of the favourites for this year's Royal Rumble is on his way to the ring. Will he and his former protege be able to play nice?

Luke Harper, who has beaten Miz into submission, stands and watches as his former mentor makes his way out to the ring.

On the far side of the ring, Daniel Bryan and John Morrison have battled onto the apron where they're exchanging right hands and hard kicks, too busy with one another to worry about Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt hits the ring and he and Harper exchange in a lengthy stare down.

The Miz is too his feet and stumbles into Harper's path. Harper grabs him from behind and allows his old boss to lay a few hard rights in.

Wyatt hits Miz with a suplex and whips him to the ropes.

SISTER ABIGAIL!

He tosses Miz's lifeless form to Harper, who coolly tosses The Miz over the top rope.

ELIMINATION: The Miz (by Luke Harper)​

Mizdow, not to let his employer down, enters the ring and promptly eliminates himself as any good stunt-man would.

Seeing the altercation taking place on the apron, Wyatt and Harper turn their attention to Bryan and Morrison. Their charge is instead met by a pair of springboard dropkicks, with the two men momentarily forming an alliance.

All four men are down now.

JBL: It's the Real American, Jack Swagger! We lose one former World Heavyweight Champion and gain another!

Cole: Swagger looks all business tonight, but he's got some stiff competition in the ring tonight!

Jack Swagger doesn't waste any time in making his presence known as he enters the ring. Daniel Bryan staggers to his feet and gets sent right back down with a hard belly to belly suplex.

Morrison eats a spectacular overhead belly to belly in his attempt to strike at Swagger, but the temporary alliance of Harper & Wyatt has better luck as they begin to rain down hard blows on the All American.

Swagger finds himself being double whipped to the corner, but Wyatt's charge misses its mark and eats a big boot instead. Swagger's fight back looks likely to be cut off by a charging Harper, but a low bridge sends the big man over the top rope!

Harper shows remarkable dexterity to land on the apron, and before finish the job he's caught from behind with a neckbreaker.

Daniel Bryan renews his hostilities with Wyatt when he catches the strange man with a dragon suplex, and John Morrison scrambles to the top turnbuckle to get a measure of his own revenge.

Harper is there to play spoil sport, tripping Morrison up and sending him face first to the mat.

Swagger capitalises on Harper's distraction to suplex the big man into the ring, and now he's got the Patriot Lock locked in! Harper is slapping the canvas, but he's not going to be able to tap out that easily!

Wyatt and Bryan slug it out in the corner while Morrison remains motionless on the mat.

Cole: What the...

JBL: It's Ken Shamrock! The World's Most Dangerous Man is back in a WWE ring for the first time since 1999!

Lawler: What a blast from the past!

JBL: This is a former Intercontinental Champion and King of the Ring, folks! He's the man who pioneered the ankle lock submission!

Shamrock looks every bit his age as he makes a guest appearance in the Royal Rumble, but he shows he hasn't missed a beat when he catches a charging Bray Wyatt with a crisp overhead belly to belly suplex.

Seeing Jack Swagger locking in his signature move on Luke Harper in the centre of the ring, Shamrock decides "anything you can do, I can do better" and locks in the hold on Wyatt!

Both former Wyatt Family members are tapping out, but there's no submissions here!

Daniel Bryan smartly seeks shelter in the corner, and the two ankle lock specialists have eyes locked as surely as ankles.

"You still got it!" chants the crowd, and Shamrock decides to test that theory. He breaks his hold and gets in Swagger's face. The tension could be cut with a knife.

Swagger releases the hold.

They exchange hard rights! Ken Shamrock and Jack Swagger are going to town on one another!

Swagger gets the upper hand and whips Shamrock to the ropes, catching him as he rebounds with a basement knee. The former WWE champion drags Shamrock over the ropes and looks to wrestle him over the top.

Cole: Business is about to pick up!

JBL: The Authority's biggest and baddest beast is on his way out to the ring and he sees a lot of people who stand between him and his Wrestlemania destiny!

The Big Show takes his time heading to the ring, allowing Swagger and Shamrock to continue their wrestling. Swagger is trying to choke Shamrock out, but the MMA specialist turns the tables by suplexing Swagger out of the ring and onto the apron.

Swagger lashes out with a kick at Shamrock's midsection, but Shamrock catches the leg!

Seeing an opportunity, John Morrison comes off the second rope with a springboard dropkick to Swagger's back!

ELIMINATION: Jack Swagger (by John Morrison)​

John Morrison shrugs and looks apologetically towards Swagger while Shamrock makes his way back into the ring.

On the other side of the ring, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper make tracks to avoid the irate Big Show.

John Morrison turns around right into a Knockout Punch!

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper's alliance seems to hold firm as the two decide to take matters into their own hands on the Big Show front. Daniel Bryan and Ken Shamrock, perhaps realising the threat that Big Show poses, also rush forward to assist.

The four descend upon the giant, only to be flung away like skittles!

One by one they come to their feet and rush at him, but are met with overhand chops and headbutts that send them right back to the mat.

Shamrock, Bryan, and Wyatt take a powder, but Harper seems equal to the task. He comes off the ropes and charges at Show, but is bounced off the bigger man's sizeable frame once, twice, three times.

The fourth time he charges and Show swings with a clumsy clothesline. Harper ducks it, comes back off the ropes, and hits a diving tackle to the back of Show's knee.

Daniel Bryan chimes in with a shining wizard that knocks the spit out of Big Show's mouth. Bray Wyatt with a running crossbody to put Big Show down!

Now here's Ken Shamrock! ANKLE LOCK! He locks it in on the big man!

Cole: Big Show is in a world of hurt now! Ken Shamrock might break his ankle!

JBL: Good luck to the idiot tossing him over the top ropes from down there!

Big Show's face is red in agony and he's reaching valiantly for the ropes. Their tenuous alliance broken, Luke Harper looks to turn Daniel Bryan inside out with a lariat. Bryan ducks, runs at the ropes, and retaliates with a Lou Thesz press.

He rains down punches on Harper, but Bray Wyatt's here to lock in a sleeper hold as he drags Bryan to his feet.

JAWBREAKER!

Bryan puts Wyatt down! He's knocked both former Wyatt Family members down, and Shamrock continues to torture the ankle of Big Show.

Cole: Another surprise entrant! It's Big Van Vader!

JBL: Three time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Vader! That's a whole mountain of humanity headed to the ring!

Vader is showing signs of his age, but gets a warm reception as he hits the ring. Ken Shamrock makes a beeline for the veteran and is met with a bone-crushing belly to belly suplex for his trouble.

Daniel Bryan heads to the top rope and attempts to come off with a flying crossbody, but Vader catches him. FALLAWAY SLAM!

Big Show is staggering to his feet and looks like he's favouring his good ankle, but Vader is quick to chop the big man back down to size with some meaty fists.

His work there done, he turns around in time to catch Bray Wyatt with an almighty powerbomb. He heads to the corner and looks for the Vader bomb, but Wyatt is too wily for that. He's played possum and buries his own forearm in Vader's crotch!

JBL: Low blow from Bray Wyatt!

Wyatt does his creepy crab walk while Vader struggles to swallow his tender junk. He gestures for Luke Harper and the pair toss Vader out.

ELIMINATION: Vader (by Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper)​

Luke Harper lingers looking over the ropes and taunting the stunned Vader, and he is made to pay the price. Daniel Bryan catches him in the back with a dropkick that sends him out to the apron.

Bray Wyatt tries to save his disciple, but Bryan ducks the clothesline and knocks Harper to the floor with a high kick.

JBL: Oh no! Not this clown!

Cole: It's internet champion, Zack Ryder making his long awaited return!

Lawler: I love this guy! Woo woo woo!

Ryder revels in the crowd's adoration as he heads into the ring, and he immediately earns their love by catching Bray Wyatt with the Rough Ryder!

Big Show, having finally staggered to his feet after Vader's assault, is charged at by Ryder who attempts a clothesline. Seeing that isn't working, Ryder returns to the ropes.

Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan has crawled behind Big Show and acts as a tripping hazard. When Ryder connects with his running crossbody, Big Show stumbles over Bryan and into the ropes.

BROSKI BOOT!

Big Show is reeling, and here come both Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan with a big double clothesline.

Big Show is teetering!

Ryder and Shamrock pitch in!

ELIMINATION: Big Show (by Ken Shamrock, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, and Bray Wyatt)​

Their alliance is short lived. Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan go straight back to brawling, while Ken Shamrock accordions Ryder with a brutal German suplex!

He then goes across to attack Bray Wyatt from behind, but gets a rake across the eyes for his trouble.

Cole: What a huge return! Chris Jericho is in the house and he's got his sight's set on Brock Lesnar's WWE Undisputed Championship!

JBL: Y2J has achieved a hell of a lot in his career, but I bet he'd see headlining Wrestlemania against the most dominant champion in WWE history as a huge feather in his cap!

Chris Jericho rushes down to the ring where he is immediately confronted by Bray Wyatt.

CODEBREAKER!

Ken Shamrock rushes across. CODEBREAKER!

Zack Ryder rushes in, blocks the Codebreaker attempt, and is caught from behind with a Carlito style back-stabber for his efforts!

Y2J has cleaned house, and he turns his sights to Daniel Bryan.

The other competitors in the ring seem to fade into the background as Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan circle one another. The fans are rabid with anticipation, and the two wily grapplers play to it perfectly by starting with a test of strength.

While the others catch their breath, Bryan and Jericho get into a bit of chain wrestling that sees both men hitting signature moves and blocking finishers. As the count-down winds towards the next entrant, Bryan has locked Jericho in the Yes Lock only to have Bray Wyatt start stomping a mudhole in him.

With his hair dyed Eurotrash streaks of pink and green, the former French Phenom makes his way out to the ring waving a French flag to the booing of the fans.

He doesn't discard the flag when he enters the ring, instead using it to try and strangle Chris Jericho from behind.

Jericho turns the tables with a headlock takedown and then signals for the Liontamer! Daniel Bryan follows it up with a top rope elbow drop.

Dupree stumbles to his feet and right into a Rough Ryder. Ryder spins around to play to the crowd, but eats Sister Abigail for his troubles. Bray Wyatt tosses him.

ELIMINATION: Zack Ryder (by Bray Wyatt)​

Rene Dupree is to his feet and finds Ken Shamrock waiting for him. A crisp overhead belly to belly sends Dupree right back to the mat, and Shamrock turns around into a Codebreaker!

Daniel Bryan spins Jericho around and plants him with a dragon suplex, and here's Dupree to try and bundle Jericho out!

Jericho manages to hold on!

Rocking his iconic face paint and stalking down to the ring like a predator out of nightmare, NXT's Finn Balor makes his way slowly out to the ring.

The remainder of the men in the ring can only watch on as the enigmatic showman makes his way out, but Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho show their smarts. Double dropkicks to the back send both Ken Shamrock and Rene Dupree over the top rope!

Both men catch on, but a brutal MMA style elbow sends Rene Dupree tumbling to the floor.

ELIMINATION: Rene Dupree (by Ken Shamrock)​

Finn Balor has finally made it to the ring, and the eerily attired star locks eyes with Bray Wyatt. Wyatt grips the ropes, shakes them, and goes down for his crab walk.

Finn Balor scampers to the top rope and comes down with a double foot stomp to Wyatt's chest! He's not buying what Bray Wyatt is selling!

Wyatt staggers to his feet and Finn Balor lays into him with hard kicks. Whip to the corner... HESITATION DROPKICK!

Cole: Finn Balor of NXT has come out here to make an impression! He's gone after one of the sickest, most depraved men in professional wrestling!

JBL: WWE fans will be familiar with Finn Balor from NXT, but this is a man who has plyed his trade all over the world. He has dominated in Japan for years now, and it's no surprise to see him bringing that same hunger out here tonight!

Cole: Business is about to pick up!

JBL: The Bulgarian Beast is on his way to the ring and he looks furious! Here's my new favourite!

Rusev stalks his way down to the ring with the beautiful Lana at his side. She stays ringside as her wrecking ball gets into the ring.

Ken Shamrock is the first to feel Rusev's ire, eating a superkick that sends him tumbling over the top rope!

ELIMINATION: Ken Shamrock (by Rusev)​

Finn Balor tries his luck with the big man, but charges right into a uranage that near drives him through the mat.

Daniel Bryan off the top rope! Caught! Exploder suplex!

Here's Chris Jericho with the Codebrea-

No!

Rusev catches him, holds him, and charges the ropes. Jericho is out!
