If QLD is as old and slow as all of NSW believe they are, a faster track and a much more up tempo game will expose them. Plus Myles is a huge loss given he is almost the most experienced Origin player of all time.

So QLD with their back right up against the wall in this one. Should be a good game!

Was Graham cited for his high tackle on Thurston last night? Didn't look too bad, Thurston slipped into it but it was still a stiff arm tackle. Graham could be in doubt pending his history.

He's been charged with a Grade 1 carless high tackle. Source - http://www.nrl.com/wade-graham-faces-one-match-ban/tabid/10874/newsid/98048/default.aspx

Normally a guilty plea would see him escape suspension. Problem is, Graham already has 33 carry over points so he would have to fight the charge and be found not guilty to avoid suspension.

Finally they get a decision right only problem it is better for QLD if he plays and the other two options don't!

I'm thinking we'll see some very different officiating this time. A nice big 10 and not a great deal of wrestling. Jennings, Ferguson and co running off Moylan and making serious metres. Rub of the green to NSW. Decider in Sydney in front of full house, rather than dead rubber in front of half that if you're lucky.

True. Weird old game.
Deliberately stomp on someone's nuts - all good.
Accidentally contact the head - suspended.

The amount of how "late" it was hurt Graham. They had to charge him unfortunately.

Brown getting off was disgraceful though, however two wrongs don't make a right.

How was it late? Thurston still had the ball. What hurts him is how he came in with his arm out to the side.

Also deliberate tripping is all good aswell

I reckon they'll let Graham off, it'd be cruel not to, I think even Qlders would agree

Fifita didn't get charged for putting Te Maire Martin out for the season either. This wasn't even late, the tackled player never had the ball. It was on suspicion. But it wasn't high. That is the difference.

The arm was very late not the tackle itself. Don't think he's unlucky at all, lucky to only get a grade 1 and he's a repeat offender. Not sure how many warnings you need, stop hitting blokes high!

So his headgear is attached to his foot now is it? It was high. Wasn't that bad but it was high. High enough to warrant a suspension, your call. Personally it is especially when he doesn't seem to learn from previous offences. Adam Blair served a week for something as stupid and I had no issue with him getting a week. Both incidents were just dumb.
