Eagles by 20.

Parcell should be back which drops Leary off the bench. Then Walker to return possibly week after.

Manly are still in the running by the skin of their teeth, they could win 5 of the last 6 and still miss out. Two easy ones to start but then it gets harder with 2 against top 4 sides, and 2 more against top 8 sides. It would help if they could put a half century on the Knights. More likely it will be half that.

That side we've put up may be the worst in recent history. There's about half a dozen blokes there who aren't good enough for reserve grade let alone the NRL. Manly could top Cronulla's 62 I think.

That Knights team has gotta be the absolute worst/most inexperienced side that's ever been fielded in history. Were just starting to get some players back and play well and more f**king injuries/suspensions. Manly should put 60 on us if we're being serious.

it would be interesting to compace their games/wins/rwl ratings out of 10 etc to some of the horrid lineups from the 90's/early 00's that NQ, souths and western suburbs pumped out

Match Preview:
Sea Eagles v Knights preview
Robert Crosby | July 28 2016 5:15PM

Rivals square off in Retro Round showdown.

After slumping to 14th on the ladder off the back of seven straight losses, the Sea Eagles have bounced back into form with three wins to keep their slim finals hopes alive. Getting out to a convincing lead against South Sydney on Monday night, coach Trent Barrett will be looking for a stronger second half performance from his unchanged side. Facing off against Newcastle, Manly supporters are expected to be out in force during Retro Round, as the combatants of the historic 1997 ARL Grand Final face off once again. With five wins from their past five clashes against the Knights, the Sea Eagles will have cause for optimism as the fight to extend their winning run.

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the Knights since that excitement machine the Broncos flogged them 53-0 without even having to run out onto the field. But I have noticed the scores are getting closer. This side might get off the bottom next year.
