Huge danger game but being at home helps dramatically in front of what should be a good 12k or so crowd. Massive game as if we win we jump back into the 8. Us by 4

In my unbiased POV,Easts by 40+

In my biased POV,Panthers to get all the help from the refs, the bunker,ISIS,Donald Trump and the gingerbread man to get a field-goal with only 1/2 second left in extra time.

Liked what I saw by the roosters last week. Every panthers game is close and I think the roosters might have a bit more smarts. With zero confidence easts by 4

hard to gauge the brisbane performance against the chooks, panthers have shown like they actually are interested in being there so this will be a difference kind of animal.

Who f**king knows really? Panthers can't seem to get their shit together against teams we should beat so I'll say Rorters by 8

Rooters will have their cock up from last weeks spanking of the Broncos. Panthers at home should be enough.
Panthers by 2.

Roosters are a better side than we have seen - they have lost a significant number of games by less than 4 points.

The Warriors have been in sound form for the past month. In fact,if results had gone their way in those GP games before the Penrith game,it would have had them in at least 5th spot.

And the while the Panthers haven't been playing "shit",they simply need to sharpen up on their mistakes and capitalise on the opportunities that they seem to blow in just about every game they play.

Those errors and lost chances will hopefully get weeded out of our game.Until then, only will we be worthy finalists.

Not sure why you've quoted the word shit there, I never said they were playing shit, just that they can't get their shit together...

Anyway, if we're still waiting for errors and lost chances to be weeded out of our game this far in the season, we shouldn't be playing finals football, full stop.

I don't trust Penrith this year. To up and down and all over the place.
Roosters by 4 unless Panthers have had their jungle juice.

Match Preview:
Panthers v Roosters preview
Andrew Jackson | August 4 2016 5:38PM

The Panthers attempt to break free of the mid-table log-jam as they host a rejuvenated Roosters outfit with little to lose. All makes for an interesting Monday night clash.

An error riddled opening half cost the Panthers a chance to really cement their spot in the Top 8 last weekend as their brave efforts went unrewarded courtesy of a Shaun Johnson special in the final minute of Golden Point. The Panthers managed a concerning 13 errors in their battle with the Warriors, and although many of these were a product of wet and wild weather their poor ball handling nullified any chance that they had of ensuring a spirited comeback. This was particularly evident in Golden Point, in which key errors by Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Josh Mansour and Leilani Latu robbed the away side of eventuating any real opportunities to steal a last gasp victory. Key to victory in this one will be young halfback Nathan Cleary, who has remained composed in his first season in the top grade. Outclassed by Johnson in last week's loss (Johnson forced 5 drop outs), Cleary still exhibited fine poise in yet another promising performance and will look to build pressure similar to that he did against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium. Acclaimed fullback Matt Moylan will also come under the spotlight with his creativity paramount to victory if Bryce Cartwright is to take up his more conservative role in the halves again.

Panthers have had a few chances to move into the 8 and always find a way too lose.

upsets to continue this Round, Chooks by 8.

if Penrith want to make the 8, they need to finish a team off with 10mins to go, too many times have they let teams catch up or have to play catch up to be a chance.

this season has been to tense for the panthers fans...how most of us haven't been admitted to emergency is a miracle in itself....
